The consultation went great, so I hired the firm on June 1, 2025. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. A few weeks after onboarding, I noticed nothing had been updated in QuickBooks. I followed up several times, but each time I received vague responses or no response at all. Given that my business had only been operating a short time, there shouldn't have been much to sort through, yet months passed with no progress. As the tax deadline approached, I again followed up--only then did I receive an email stating I owed over $10,000. This made no sense because Ashley and I had never even discussed my tax situation. After expressing my frustration and insisting on clarification, she eventually discovered several errors and misfilings, which brought the liability down to about $5,000. She assured me that once tax season passed, they would finally get my QuickBooks cleaned up. It is now December 8th, and nothing has been done. My books have not been touched since June 1st. I had a one-on-one meeting in October to try to resolve this, and I sent multiple messages afterward asking for updates and explanations. My last message plainly asked why I was paying a monthly fee for services that were not being performed. I never received a response. Today, I officially terminated my relationship with the firm. On April, 4 we had a lengthy text text conversation before meeting at a Black Rifle Coffee House near her home office to go over some details & get her the documents I had. I will note she missed an appointment on Sunday April, 3 that she had set to meet at a Starbucks just down the road from her home office. I waited an hour on a Saturday for her to show up in which she never did. I can forgive a missed meeting the first time although, I do find it unprofessional. My time is just as important as hers. I had sent her my 2019 bank statements in the mean time while we jumped through the hoops of getting her access to my actual account. I sent them in a Numbers spreadsheet which is Mac's version of excel. She also had access to my CRM in which she can see my bank account activities. On April 6 she sent me her ID so I could forward it to my credit union to gain her access. I then sen t the documents to the credit union on April 7. Once I had told her that the state had put a freeze on my account, she told me not to worry, that we just needed to get her access to my bank account & she would have the freeze lifted by the following Wed. This conversation happened on Good Friday. She also committed to filing the needed extensions for federal taxes & get my local sales tax & incorporation papers up & going. On April 14 she committed to having my sales tax wrapped up by the following morning. Then on April 15 I discovered my bank account was frozen. I let her know & gave her the number to call. She let me know she couldn't;t do anything right then because of the holiday & tax deadline. I tole her I tried to do the math & I came up with me owing $1217.20. She said she said I owed less than that. This is when she said she'd have the freeze cleared up by the following Wed. After not hearing anything for a couple of days I reached out to her for an update. She replied with "Not today, but will check tomorrow more with the state of Texas again". I asked her, what about access to the credit union. She replied "You told me that you of me can't access it until it no longer had a freeze". I replied that I had sent her the number to call & did she call. She again said "No, did not call the number. Busy trying to open jobber files since 6am. This is at 5:46 pm. (I sent her the files around 9am). At this point I had seen enough red flags to pull back, so I* requested that she Fedex all my documents back to me ASAP. She said she would as well as a check for a full refund of $750. It's now May 3 & she stopped replying to messages, has stolen my business files, & as far as I'm concerned stolen $750. My biggest concern was the lack of communication. My business, livelihood, & employees livelihood are at stake & she couldn't find the time too let me know whats going on. She said she doesn't update her clients unless she has good news or something to update. I asked how could she have an update when she hadn't done anything aid I still have the freeze on my account, she never filed for any extensions, she never called the credit union, she did not call the Texas Comptroller & now I'm here with my personal bank account frozen & a tax lien on all of my personal property. the $750 was all I had to hire someone for this task & she & Accurate DFW Tax Solutions left me in a worse position that when they found me. She said I need to have more patients to follow the system. I don't truly think she knows the system. I called the Comptroller & had 2019, 2020, 2021, & the first qtr of 2022 filed in 3 hours.

This is our first time using their services and it has been a nightmare. They assured us that everything will go smoothly. This year (2020), we received a notice CP81 stating that they have not received our tax return for 2017. I immediately called and spoke with Carolina T. and she advised that the system crashed during the time they filed and she said she will issue a refund. She also advised that she will re-file the same day (7/23/20) and she sent me a confirmation email that it was sent. I called the IRS again, hours and days later, and they advised they did not receive it. When I called back to Carolina T. at the CPA office, she indicated that it was filed and it will take some time for it to show up on the IRS side. Well it's now 11/20/2020, and we received another letter from the IRS. The same notice CP81 indicating that the 2017 taxes were not filed. In Summary, I don't believe the story that the system crashed and somehow lost our information or the filing didn't go through. If that was the case, why weren't there blast email or notice sent to people indicating this. Also this is the 2nd time they advised they filed electronically and apparently it still did not go through. I waited to write this review, because I honestly thought this was an honest mistake and out of their control, but now I realize, this is not a good business to work with. Although we did receive a full refund back for their services, this issue is still not resolved, and more and likely we'll probably be paying back interest. When asked if they will be paying the interest, she stated (back in July), that the refund should cover the interest cost if any. This is unacceptable. I was better off using Turbo Tax or H&R Block. I paid the higher amount for ease of convenience and quality. I received neither.

He hasn't responded to emails for an update. I called an insurance company I don't like and got a quote over the phone. It is sad to think that CIA wants to have a customer calling their competition, but that is where I am at, calling around to get some renter's insurance for my mom.
