The worst experience I have ever had with any Dr!! I had a surgery last March (2023) and as a…read moreresult of the medical negligence I had to have 4 surgeries by another provider who had to have another surgeon come from GA to do the 5th surgery to finally get me closed up. I called Dr Datta's office the same day his PA Nicole took my staples out knowingly too soon to let them know I had blood coming from my incision his PA Amy instructed me to send her a picture she then called me and said she was on her way to her child's practice but it would be fine no need to go to ER someone will call me in the morning to have me come in that morning. When my home health nurse came she took the bandage and binder off and said I need to call an ambulance my incision had open so wide you could put your hand in it she called the office to let them know and one of the Pa's told my home health care nurse DONT send her to the ER have her come in now when I came in Nicole acted as if it was nothing serious and then Nicole took a suture kit and stuck the needle in my stomach in an attempt to place 2 sutures at each end of the open incision she did this without numbing the area I was in so much pain I could not move or scream the look on her nurses and on my husband's face was complete shock. A few days later I had to go to the ER because I had a fever good thing I did because I could have gone into sepsis my wound had got so deep it took the ER Dr 11 yards of packing strip, they were shocked that it took so much. I was then told by the on-call Dr to make sure that not Nicole, but that Dr Datta see me not one time on my numerous office visits did Dr Datta come see me until the last one before I was urge by my home health nurse to see someone else is lack of concern was very disturbing. On a previous visit his PA Nicole was so negligent that she instructed one of her nurses to just use tap water instead of saline to soak the gauze that was used to place in my wound my home health care nurse said she could have caused a serious infection because tap water has bacteria. The fact that Dr Datta and his PA Nicole was so dismissive every time my home health nurses called them to report how my wound was getting worse is in my opinion medical neglect. I have pictures that I will be more than happy to show to graphic in my opinion to show but if you msg me I will share and can go into further detail...Oh I was also scolded for going to the ER they told me not to do that anymore without calling them first needless to say if I hadn't of went, I would have gone into sepsis. The office manager did reach out to me and told me that she would come in the room with when I came back but at that point, I was really too worried and scared to continue care with this office. From March 2023 to October 2023 I really suffered because of the medical neglect and lack of care from Dr Datta and PA Nicole in and out of the hospital all the surgeries the constant pain having to wear a Wound VAC for months having to have daily visits from a nurse having my family to change and clean my wound daily it was a nightmare and should not have happen I hope this review will help somebody to not have to experience this pain and neglect not to mention the loss of income from not being able to work.

If you're looking to be treated as an afterthought and totally neglected then this is the practice…read morefor you. Office staff is rude, nursing staff incompetent and very little oversight by the physician but lots of soccer moms playing at being drs.

I did not have a good experience with this practice and I'd like to explain in detail why so others…read moredo not have to go through what I went through. I reached out to them because they are privately owned and I like to support small business. I am a business owner myself. I spend my days training front office personnel for healthcare practices on how to create a great patient experience, and this practice could use some help with their version of the patient journey. It started with a phone call. The first person I spoke with (I will not name names b/c my purpose is to provide an honest review, not get people fired), wasn't very engaging. I was calling to get my family established with care and this person did not lead the conversation at all. I had to ask a lot of questions rather than this person telling me the process and telling me what to expect. By the time my 20 minute call was over, the solution was for me to drive to office to fill out paperwork to establish care for my children. I thought that was odd they couldn't email paperwork and found it very inconvenient, but I took time out of my busy day to do this because it's important for me to get my children's wellness visit completed. I brought my husband to help because filling out paperwork for three children can very time consuming. We drove to Stuart and were seen right away. We were given the paperwork and surprised to see it was only 2 forms stapled together and it was basically to collect name, DOB, ss#, and maybe a few other things but no health history form, no HIPAA compliance, or any of the other usual forms. We filled out the paperwork, took it back to the front desk, and the person at the front desk told me she couldn't schedule the children until she input their information into the system. She recommended we leave, she will put the info. in (there was barely anything to input) and once she does that, she will call me TOMORROW to schedule. I thought that was strange she couldn't do that there but I conceded and said I look forward to hearing from her tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went, and I heard nothing. The weekend came, they aren't open, so I wasn't expecting a call then, but I was hopeful I'd hear back Monday. Monday came and by 4:45pm, I decided to f/u. I spoke with a person who told me the person I worked with on Thursday isn't there and to call back tomorrow. She wasn't able to find my children's information and that I needed to speak with that individual. I'm simply looking to get an appt. scheduled and assumed anyone working at the front desk could help me with this but I was wrong. I followed her recommendation and called back at 9:30am Tuesday morning. The person who helped me on Thursday was "busy" and they asked me to leave my name and number and she will call me back. Tuesday came and went, and no phone call. It is now Wednesday, 4 business days later, and the simple task of getting my children scheduled for a wellness visit still has not been met. As a professional and a mother/sister/daughter/aunt/friend, I will never recommend anyone to receive care from this practice for the following reasons: The first impression matters and is a foreshadowing of the care you will receive. Their communication and follow up is non-existent. I should be able to speak to anyone in the practice and they should be able to help me schedule an appt. for my children. There is no respect for the patient's time and that leads to no respect for the relationship, as I see it. Making a patient drive 30 minutes to fill out paperwork (and then 1/2 hr. in the office and 1/2 hr. home so 1.5 hours total) and still not schedule the appts. is inefficient and frustrating to say the least. I shouldn't feel lost when a staff member is not there. They are task driven vs patient-centered b/c the staff member was more worried about getting paperwork entered (which still hasn't been done) than getting the patients scheduled. Every patient interaction affects care, retention and referrals and I will not be taking my family there nor recommend them for others.
