During an initial group trip to the aquarium, there was not enough space in the van for the two of us to attend. However, a few days later, the Arrive Wilmington team went above and beyond by returning--on their own time--to ensure we were also given the opportunity to visit. Mark, the driver, was exceptionally courteous and made the entire outing enjoyable. We truly appreciated the thoughtfulness and professionalism shown to us. We feel so fortunate to have found someone who not only brings her competent skills and caring attitude, but provides joy and laughter. In addition to the necessary care, she brings poems or an inspiring story to share and she plays my aunts favorite game of Rummikub. We look forward to the days she's here and I'm a little jealous because they have so much fun. Comfort Keepers staff has been so very supportive and attentive to our needs. For whatever reason, that particular resident's cell phone wasn't working. Offered to take her number if I could get a hold of that resident to give it to her. When I reported that I couldn't reach her, Valerie stooped to blaming me for wasting her time. She also suggested (condescendingly) that I make an emergency announcement to ask this resident to call her before you she hung up on me. If I make an emergency announcement, every single resident hears it - let alone doing it at 9:30 in the morning. We're not a Walmart, I'm not going to use our intercoms and wake up all of our residents for your failing one-star transportation business.
