I think I got ripped off. I sent them an audio tape in February that I verified as received by them. Asking for an update their email is not an available email address and their phone number.voicemail is all full and not taking messages. I paid about $45 to have a very precious audio recording of my daughter laughing as a baby digitized and now I feel it's gone forever. read more

I notified them the CD's did not work and they sent me the digital file. I did receive the micro cassettes back in the mail with the non-working CD's. I found one more micro cassette I need converted. So I'm going to give them another chance and update my review with how that goes. read more

Find someone else. That's my advice. ABSOLUTE WORST Ebay Seller I've ever used. I confirmed he received the package on 8/21. I didn't receive it back until 10/21. He had it for nearly a month and a half before even looking at it! Tried contacting him twice through ebay with no response! I ended up having to search for a local phone number to get in touch with him. When I finally did, his response was "Oh, I was on vacation." (For a month and a half?!?!). I can see now why he no longer allows feedback on his ebay user profile. Will never use again! read more

I sent in an old cassette tape to be digitized in June of this year. The company's website mentioned that it might take 4-6 weeks. I waited for a while to check on the progress, as I was hoping to get the digitized music back in time for an older relative's birthday celebration. After a month or so, I called to see what their timeline was. I was polite. No response. I then called a few more times and left messages, trying to be polite. Again, no response. I emailed them --several times --at the email address included on their website (presumably so you can contact them via email?). No response. In mid-August, I finally messaged them on Facebook, and got a brief response: the tape was being processed. The digitized version was sent in the second or third week in August. The product is okay. That is not the point: Their customer service is HORRIBLE. A ten second email--even an automated email response-- or a ten second phone call would have been greatly appreciated. I felt like I was shouting into a black hole. The cassette was not valuable in financial way, but very valuable to my family. I imagine that many recordings that Media Mojo receives are monetarily worthless but of great sentimental value. And that kind of value means that you're trusting a total stranger with a very precious item. So, to get no response at all after several attempts to contact them is inexcusable. I am self-employed, a one-person shop. If I utterly failed to get back to my customers after they tried multiple times to contact me, I would be out of business. I am appreciative of the work they do but I would never, NEVER send anything to Media Mojo again. And I would NEVER recommend them. read more

Does anyone know if this company is still in business? I mailed them my one cassette tape about 5 weeks ago it still says "pending payment" even thought payment was sent to them five weeks ago. Tried to leave a voicemail but it says the mailbox is full. I am worried that I wont get what I ordered or even get my tape back. thanks! read more

I had a treasured very old audio tape cassette of relatives, now long dead, which was badly damaged and had come apart. I filled out the instructions on the web site requesting a new tape, if that was possible, and a digital copy. I'm very happy with the results. The voices are as clear as can be and I received the new tape and USB drive quicker than I expected, just a few short weeks. And the cost was reasonable, less than others offering similar services. Our son was born in Austria and we have a box of vhs-c pal video cassettes we used to watch on the old recorder connected to a multi-system tv. we got rid of the tv and had no way to watch the videos. my intention was to eventually convert these myself but never got around to it. i found media mojo and couldn't be happier with the work they did. we now have all these memories on dvd that we can enjoy almost anywhere. in fact i just found another shoe box of cassettes and can't wait to ship these off so we can enjoy them. you can trust media mojo with your family treasures. read more

So I've had this VHS tape that I was supposed to convert to a DVD oh....about 5 years ago. Literally, 5 years. Finally, when i saw a yelp offer for Media Mojo I finally got my act together I called, arranged to drop my tape off and was able to get the DVDs back quickly.
