My dad was transported to MCP on June 19th after a fall in the nursing home. The staff here were wonderful. Kaitlyn my dad's ICU nurse was phenomenal. Anna my father's second nurse was also wonderful. The doctors, nurses, therapists and everyone I spoke to were super friendly and helpful. When I had to leave my dad I felt that he was in safe hands and would be well taken care of. My problem didn't arise until I tried to get my dad's caseworker Natali to help me send my dad to another facility because I was worried about my father's safety at the facility he came from. She absolutely would NOT help me get my father to a facility that I felt he was going to be safer at. She informed me it did not matter that I was his POA and his only point of contact. I had transportation lined up and the facility was waiting to take my father but Natali thought she knew better than I did what my father needed. I even sent her the Texas law number stating a concerned family member can remove a loved one from an usafe facility but she refused to acknowledge anything I was saying. So, while I say if your loved one ends up in ICU know they'll be in safe hands. But if you end up with Natali as a caseworker and you're tyring to protect a loved one, I would suggest having an attorney on hand and every legal document you can find because she simply will NOT help you protect your loved ones. read more

Go Any Where But Here. They USED to be so good that's why I chose them last month and today when told to go to the ER by my doctor. Never again. On both visits I have been in the er unit over 12 hours without getting a room. This time it has been multiple hours since anyone has even come in to talk to me or update me on anything. It is now well past breakfast time and no offer of anything to eat has even been offered. I am shaking and diabetic but apparently they could care less. I had some crackers in my bag but they haven't helped much at all. I have a huge headache and nobody is telling others to at least keep the music on their phones down. This is just ridiculous. They are just shuffling us some chair to chair. Want to feel like no staff member or Doctor gives a crap then go ahead and go to Medical City Plano. This is by far the best hospital around. The nurses here are the best I have ever experienced. We did not have a bad nurse at all throughout our entire 6 day stay. In my experience with hospitals,and I have had plenty at different hospitals, you usually have at least 1or more bad nurses but here not one bad one. I brought framily to the ER at Medical City Plano. Obviously it is an emergency or else we would not be here! 7 1/2 hours later we are still sitting here. I've been to plenty of ERs throughout the U.S., but this one is definitely on my, "Caution, find another ER list." Obviously hospitals are short and there are a shortage of medical professionals, but my goodness it is called an emergency room for a reason. This place doesn't seem to know who they have seen and who they haven't. They called names of people who were checked out for hours. People are coming in for heart attacks, severe breathing problems, severe bleeding, kidney stones and the list goes on. With all of that being said hours and hours later they sit and wait. Although everyone is sitting in the emergency room it doesn't seem as if anyone's needs are being seen as an emergency. The only thing that I can say is please think twice before bringing your loved ones to this emergency room. A patient advocate should interview every patient that was admitted today. Let's start with Valet. We pull up for valet. No one is there, so we wait knowing how busy these guys can get. A car pull up next to us and sees the valet person walking up. They proceed to have a conversation about the weekend. Needless to say, we've been waiting to get inside to the burn unit for care. After the valet gets to us, we get unloaded and head in. Kinda. The electric door will open a foot, then close. This continues for a bit. A lady comes from the inside with. Medical City Plano shirt on and proceeds to tell us and the people standing behind us how idiotic it is to just stand there, and why didn't we try to stop the door from closing. She showed us how we "should have" pulled in the door to tell it to open all the way. Well. This has turned into a not so fun day of events at the doctor. Burn unit docs are wonderful. The nurses are wonderful. After check in the registration lady, not so wonderful. Same valet guy there when we left, this time on his cell phone. Same door still not functioning. As we tried to leave. But we made it there safely and home safely, so we have a ton to be grateful for. Anywho. Take with that what you want read more

Watched one of their cleaning staff clean the toilet with a rag then use it for the sink and then proceed to wipe down the entire room. Same rag. When heading into surgery two different doctors from two different staffs were discussing how to perform the anesthesia and then we were asked what we wanted. Really, We are not doctors nor medical personnel. We trust the "PROFESSIONAL" to make those decisions. Why were they making last minute surgical decisions as the patient was literally being taken into the surgical suite. That should not happen. All decisions about a surgery should happen before the surgery and be written in stone, well before patient is ever removed from their room. The paperwork was being updated as the patient was being wheeled into the surgical suite. This is how accidents happen. Wrong foot amputated. Wrong organ removed. That is real those things really happened. The number of deaths related to Medical mixups or hospital stays is much higher than is generally known. Found my wife in Critical Care at 3:00 am (when family would normally not be present), uncovered after a nurse had come in to do some work and she was freezing to death. I will state that some of the staff were absolutely stellar. One issue is the sheer number of foreign staff, making communication difficult when pronunciation and enunciation were not adequate. The structure of separation of staff also caused confusion with surgeons coming in stating they were our surgeon and when the surgery would be followed by a second surgeon showing up and stating they would do the surgery and that it would be a different time and date than the first surgeon, causing stress and confusion to a patient who was already anxious about the surgery. This happened twice while we were there. I will caveat the language issue as being centered on the individual as we had one nurse who was from another country (Jamaica) who was ablsolutely the best. But compentence or lack of competence in language cannot be allowed in a field where it isn't simply a car or a computer that may end up with issues. If you or your family member has a problem I recommend this hospital. They show true genuine care towards their patients. The ER is extremely busy but they try to maintain giving treatment to everyone based on priority measures. I was finally given a private room which was sooner than later. It had a private bathroom, TV, and bed that monitors your movement and adjusts based on pain and movement. My nurses, Christopher and Joyce were amazing in treating me. Throughout the night and day my vitals were taken and monitored. Dr. Hussain in ER and Dr. Iouya in the room offered informative information and was direct with my current health issues and possible solutions. They discharged only when I was ready. They offered and recommended a neurologist to immediately go to to continue helping my current issue. I am happy I was sent to this hospital from urgent care. I was truly taken care of. As a member of the National Press Club of Washington DC I am one to speak the truth and inform people of the necessary information you need to hear. read more

I had both of my hips replaced at this hospital in 2009. The surgeon tore apart my right gluteus muscle during the first surgery, and the pain that ensued was ignored. I was treated like a drug addict, though I was not one. No one would believe me and no one cared. Now I am having problems with the right hip AGAIN, so I needed my medical records to be sent to my new surgeon in Nebraska. I made no fewer than five phone calls begging them to send what I had requested to my surgeon. They managed to send some imaging to them after four phone calls. They NEVER sent the operative reports, which I have been told were not worth the paper they were written on by the surgeon who did my left hip revision in Tuscon, AZ. This "hospital" is poorly run and they don't know their behind from a hole in the ground. DO NOT have your surgery here. Avoid being a patient here at all costs. They do not care about their patients and they would rather assume that you are a liar than recognize that you are in agonizing pain. Four Thumbs Down. read more

My mother came in by ambulance. We didn't have a choice to go to our regular hospital because it was considered trauma. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hospital ICU. I had to constantly get staff to come and do what was the next steps for her, after pressing the button for help. I was not able to talk to a doctor like I can at BSW. We had to stay an extra night for them to do an MRI, they came in that morning and said they decided not to do one. The material covering the couch was split all the way down the middle. When we first got there, nobody helped get the room set up so she could sleep well. The food was outsourced and tasted good and came on time. I mistakenly took my son there a few years ago, and the social worker told me if I could him downstairs to my car, take him somewhere else, and the next morn. that's exactly what i did. We had been gone 15 min. before the staff knew he was gone and they called, not to see how he was but with a threat that if we didn't bring the IV in his hand back, they would call the police. When we arrived back at the Hosp, they were all standing outside waiting to get the IV out of his hand. To this day they haven't asked how he is. Run if you see this place. Go anywhere else. Our loved one is disabled and needed a urinary catheter during a hypertensive crisis. Catheters range in size from 8FR to 18FR. The patient uses a 12FR, but the hospital ONLY stocks the much larger 16FR. This is like telling someone who wears size 10 shoes that size 8 is the only choice. This is one of the worst hospitals I have ever encountered. The facilities are completely unkempt. Okay, I'll let that slide but other than a few decent employees, This has been the WORST experience I've ever had accompanying my Mother through about 10 back surgeries. The TV that is supposed to help you track the patient's process, in the Building C waiting room is broken and after numerous calls, it's not only stayed broken but no department has taken responsibility for it. Facilities is "off site" they said call IT. IT claims they can only help employees. They said "go to the nurse station and ask them to submit a ticket". Sadly, there was no one answering that station so they had a small sign saying "if this phone rings, please answer it". No one except for me noticed it so I answered it and let waiting family members let them know to come to the phone. The worst thing is that I've been waiting here since 6am. I'm writing this at 5:35pm. My mother was out of surgery and in recovery at 2pm. I have seen and talked to dozens of people who have come and gone way before us. I attempted to get information but nobody seemed to no anything. I was beyond frustrated and scared that something was very wrong with my mother. They said there were no rooms cleaned. Seriously. I finally resorted to try finding an ombudsman or patient advocate but of course no one was working. In the process of trying anything out of sheer desparation, I got an operator. While trying to explain my situation, I DID NOT CUSS OR THREATEN this woman, yet she took an otherworldly response to me saying "don't speak to me like that". Within less than a minute, a security guard showed up and threatened me. I explained my situation and he seemed to be kind and understanding and promised to help me. He said she needed a "special" room and it would take thirty minutes to get it ready. It's been over 45 minutes and still nothing. I'm waiting on him, Nelson, or possibly Plano DPS. This is not a situation ANY concerned loved one should be subjected to. I care about my Mother but I'm being attacked for voicing NON THREATENING concern to a random operator. Also, the toilets DON'T FLUSH, many things are broken or inoperable and this place is a dystopian nightmare. I've got family calling me trying to get an update but I can't get any information. Will walk through our experience with my mom. ER one of the "kids" there didn't even want to collect the already in a container urine sample, why is this person even working in a hospital. Second once the ER doctor came the diagnosis was all over the place but I'll give them the benefit of doubt because it was a tough diagnosis but the care is what is lacking. She was taken into the MRI, this was someone in extreme pain from hip issues and muscle rupture (later diagnosed) but the guy in the ER MRI basically just yanked her from the wheelchair with no regard or knowledge of what he was dealing with. She was in extreme pain and clinging to the chair. Other people in other exams in that same ER floor were more accommodating. Then she went to one of the floors while they diagnosed her. Once again nurses are applying one solution for all patients without knowledge of diagnosis. Again they yanked her out of bed to change the bedding. Once again immense pain. I only let it happen because I thought the person directing this was a doctor and I trusted her, she had white coat and everything. It ended being some nurse lead. Then you would have physical therapy people again showing up in every room with one solution for all wanting every patient to move. Bear in mind she was still undiagnosed. Literally had to argue with this people because she was in immense pain and untreated. They would get very angry. Finally they diagnosed her and went into surgery. I have no complaints of the surgeon part, it was a miracle and her life was saved. I have complaints about the care from the rest of the staff. She came out of surgery barely recovering still very vulnerable and once again these physical therapy people would demand movement. I understand the fact that she could not remain in bed entirely what made me upset is that they came 5 minutes and wanted everything made fast and got super angry when there were delays because she was still in pain. One time a PT person came in and she needed to go to bathroom, hadn't gone in days so this was more important. The person did not want to wait and wanted her to release herself on the bedding, when she could already slowly be able to be transported to the toilet plus if they so much cared about movement, toilet trips were a good way to get her moving, I had to argue with the person to let us take her to the bathroom because we knew the cleanup on the bed would be more yanking and hurting and unsanitary. Floor doctors (not surgery team) would just show up and not able to provide any details as to her condition or diagnosis. She was released without anyone explaining us her diagnosis or what happened. Some of the floor nurses seemed ecstatic to have her out because they disliked having family advocate for her, not all, a few were good but some were bad. A week later once release papers were in only through ChatGPT was I able to get it to summarize for me what was in the papers. There was no follow up appointments made, we had to schedule the removal of stitching without anyone having told us when or where, we just kept calling until they took her in. There was another department that should also have scheduled follow up appointments, called and called, they never set the appointment. A person would answer get the name and say they would call back and never happened, kept calling beck and could even hear the guy laughing. I don't even think he was at the hospital because could hear sounds as if he was on a car or out and about. Finally gave up on that and pursued this elsewhere. Like I said I have no complaints about the surgical team but the care of the care staff at this hospital is horrible. And patient advocate line would never answer by the way. read more

The parking lot staff were very rude. I was near the yellow line only because the valet was parking cars poorly and without respect for the space. On top of that, I was dropping off my mom, who is disabled and blind, and one of the staff still came up and asked me to move. I parked close to the yellow line, and the valet asked me to move, saying I was blocking the drop-off area. But I wasn't--the issue was actually two cars parked across from me. This has to be one of the busiest hospitals around. It's also one of the worst hospitals around and I cringe every time a family member gets sent there. I have never met an a friendly employee there except for one in neurology and one in housekeeping! The emergency department is especially horrible. My 92 year-old mother laid in the ER for a day and a half while "waiting on a room." Meanwhile she received no care at all except what her family provided. My job was to try to keep the flies under control. My nephew seems to think it's because of her age that she is not worthy of healthcare. I'm here to tell you she is! I went out so many times to try to talk to a nurse, but no one will even make eye contact with you. She has finally been assigned a room so hopefully she'll get some attention now. It just must be a terrible place to work for there to be such widespread employee unhappiness. If you have any other options, please go to a different hospital! I've had family in almost every facility in the metroplex, and there are much better options out there the medical city anything is not where I would recommend. read more

This is a 24-hour hospital, yet the limited restaurants/deli are closed for most of the weekend and every night. Valet parking is advertised as free, but when staff aren't present, cones still block off the valet spots--leaving limited parking options. Many of the doors around the facility don't function properly, if at all. We even had to ask for assistance just to get through the main ER entrance. In Tower B, only one elevator was operational, and when I asked about stair access, three different employees had no idea where the stairs were. The most serious issue occurred while my daughter was in the ICU. Someone we have a restraining order against called several hospitals looking for her. Shockingly, Medical City Plano confirmed she was a patient, then provided this individual with the room number, her medical condition, my full name, and my business phone number because I am listed as the decision maker. They even said he could visit my daughter. This is not only unacceptable--it is a clear and dangerous violation of HIPAA and our legal rights. To make matters worse, there seems to be no active security presence or visitor monitoring in the ICU, which raises serious safety concerns. The staff here appear disorganized and unprepared. Basic information is difficult to get, and communication has been inconsistent at best. We've been in the ICU for six days, and only received updates when I physically track down a nurse. Even then, I am told they are too busy and will get back to me later. To date, we've had one doctor communicate with us and he was extremely difficult to understand due to a language barrier. Given the combination of poor communication, security failures, and lack of basic support services, I cannot in good faith recommend this hospital to anyone. read more

I was brought in the Trauma unit for an incidental (bullet) would and fortunately I didn't need surgery and very thankful for the care of MOST nurses (except 1) and my doctor refused to take the bullet out, even though it was on outer layer of skin and interfered with any movement I made. I was then sent to a rehab, which several staff members, including the nurse I'm speaking of mentioned how horrible the rehab is and I wouldn't have to go there. She seemed delighted that I was in fact going to the very rehab she said was horrible, and it was. It was not sanitary, especially considering the wounds and trauma I was still going thru. This whole incident was a traumatic experience after having already been thru so much. No compassion or understanding from these 2 during the scariest time in my life. It was a horrible experience to begin with and just got worse with my stay and not being able to ask doctor or understanding of my concerns. There is a dr in ER long blonde fake eyelashes seen twice . She sent me home didn't fully evaluate me told me to go to another ER I asked for another dr opinion she purposely discharged me as she was walking out for the night.. I told her I couldn't pee and retaining she wouldn't bladder scan me and that I had a blood clot they rushed the ultrasound . I went to another hospital and they had to put a catheter in me and I had a blood clot now a week later still hurting and dealing with issues .. if you want to live I wouldn't go there. I called social worker to make a complaint and got no call back, they kept saying I'm sorry you can get another opinion elsewhere after they poked me 3 times to get an IV and took my blood I think I have an internal bleed and sepsis now and I'm afraid to go there this used to be my top place to go till she started. I will be filing with the state a complaint .. and TDI as I have to pay for this visit and the next Visit as well.. hope someone calls back I will call everyday till they respond. I have been an RN and Patient at MCP! I am seeing wide ranges of sources stating that MCP is TERMINATING MEDICAL STAFF. These staff are reporting unsafe patient ratios AND unsafe conditions for patients and staff! This is incorrigibly unacceptable!!!! I wish I could give zero stars for our experience at Medical City Plano's ER. Disorganized, rude, and completely lacking in empathy is the best way to describe this place. My wife had been in Medical City Frisco for 8 days due to an intestinal blockage, and they took good care of her there. But they didn't have a GI doctor on staff, so they recommended we transfer her to Medical City Plano. We checked her out, went to see her GI doctor the same day, and she slept at home for a night before we headed to Medical City Plano the next day, per her GI surgeon's advice. When we arrived, most of the intake staff were nice enough, but things went downhill fast. Two of the nurses--one short with brown hair and another tall with red hair--were unbelievably rude. When we requested another nurse after seeing their attitude, they seemed to take it personally. They decided to chat among themselves, and it felt like they told the one nice nurse not to help with my wife's medication. As a result, my wife sat there in pain and nauseous for hours, even though the doctor had already ordered her meds. To make matters worse, we overheard another patient shouting at the nurses, saying he wasn't receiving care even though he came to the ER because he couldn't breathe. He eventually left because the red-haired nurse said she needed to "check the computer," as if his struggle to breathe wasn't an urgent matter. We were stuck in the ER for several hours without seeing a doctor. We called Patient Advocacy (+1-972-519-1538), but it just went to voicemail. If you don't like helping people, you shouldn't work in the medical field. There are plenty of jobs where you don't have to interact with humans. This was hands down one of the worst medical experiences we've had in over 20 years of dealing with Crohn's. On June 13th, 2025, I was admitted to Medical City Plano Hospital for emergency PE. I have no health insurance and MCP hospital knows this plus I am Latino/Black. I have tried to contact the hospital and the executives, and no one will contact me about the billing. Keep in mind that MCP keeps the billing and compliance separate so how can my bill be adjusted when I am not at fault? 1. I was told that I was having emergency surgery due to my PE being in both lungs, and it would be at or around 6 PM CST. Six o'clock comes around, and MCP changes their minds about the emergency surgery, so I am not notified of this. No effective communication about my life to me and there is only one Internal Heart Cardiologist on staff at MCP. I checked their website and there are 3 other Heart Cardiologists, but MCP didn't call any of them since my life was on the line. Oxygen deprivation, also known as hypoxia, is a condition where the body does not receive enough oxygen. I'm in the ICU room still with a toilet that had black mold spores all of the lid and inside rim. I asked the nurse, Michael, if he would use this toilet and he said no, so I used the mobile toilet instead. No meals were ordered for me either so my friend who is Nurse drove an hour away with her husband to bring a happy meal from McDonalds. *NOTE: I have no insurance (MCP knows this), and they kept me in the ICU room for a non-emergency since MCP changed their minds without telling me. This is now causing additional billing/expenses on my behalf due to their decision-making. The is no billing staff on site as they all work from home including finance dept. 2. June 14th, 2025, I have surgery around 9am or 9:30 am CST and there is loud Usher house music playing in the background as staff member Ashley presents me with the Operations List, which has no disclosure of prices listed. I am already on a treatment plan of Heparin IV from the Operations List but needed additional treatment. The staff member (Ashley) at MCP had me sign off on a 200k surgery, and I did not know this, as again no pricing was listed on this Operations List form. Day 2, and I'm in the ICU room still with a toilet that had black mold spores all of the lid and inside rim. No one has come in to clean it either. I have bandage near my groin area from the surgery that is bloody but has not been changed since the surgery. No meals were ordered for me because I had to beg for it. 3. June 15th, 2025, the non-emergency has been completed but I have 3 IV lines in my arm that are hurting me, and I have more than 3x please remove them. The nurse would look at my arm and say they would look into removal but just left them in anyway. I have a scar to remind me of this now. I am now introduced to a 3rd shift nurse member of MCP named Spencer. We have never met before, but he made sure to mentally, verbally, as well as be toxic towards me as much as possible. *Note I almost died but nurse Spencer wanted to let me know I am not human, undeserving of human treatment, let alone kindness, and told the RN manager I was being difficult (which is lie) while under his care for the day. You wonder what triggered this it was me simply asking about discharge paperwork because the Internal Medicine doctor (whose bedside manner sucks) misled me by telling me I could go home that evening. From that point on, nurse Spencer made it his mission to make me feel like a burden and pain in his a** so all the other staff had to help me. I asked Spencer to change my groin bandage, and he did not but he sent in the RN manager instead because I'm a burden to him. I'm in the ICU room still with a toilet that had black mold spores all of the lid and inside rim as I throw my own waste in said toilet is clogged and about to overflow so nurse Spencer said he would call maintenance no one came while I was in the room. The janitor woman came but just cleaned the floors is all. No meals were ordered for me because I had to beg for it. MCP finally called transport staff member (woman) very nice to take me downstairs to the 1st floor to a clean bathroom so I could actually go. Hint, Hint. Now one of the other nurses informs me that I have to stay another day just to receive (Eliquis) coupon (AI could do this job) which was never mentioned before by the Internal Medicine doctor. Misled and lied to once again at my expense. Note: I'm still in the ICU room even though there is no emergency, but nurse Spencer was able to find me a personal room for extra day of billing so I could receive a coupon called (Eliquis) from a case worker by the name Vivan S. who does not give out her last with an attitude problem. 4. June 16th, 2025, Monday and I am here just waiting for the case worker Vivan S. to hand me (Eliquis) a coupon, then I was released from the hospital. This drug is $700.00 for a 30-day pply and I ran out and contacted the case worker Vivan S., who made it clear I was bothering her and she told me the (Eliquis) coupon is good for one read more

Nobody ever wants to be in a hospital. However, everyone from the emergency department, to techs, to nursing, was just AMAZING. The ED doctor was fantastic as well. The only complaints I have: the "meatloaf" was horrible, even by hospital food standards. And my assigned doctor once I was admitted would show up for maybe 1-2 minutes (but documented 16 minutes per day on my chart) - she's obviously knowledgeable in her areas, but very short and curt. She didn't know what my insulin pump was either, I had to explain how a closed loop system worked, and after a minute I could tell she'd checked out (I mean... it's pretty complicated, most people check out 30 seconds into the explanation anyway). But she let me handle that part of my care on my own (insulin pump + CGM + closed loop system). They obviously still checked my sugar a couple of times a day, but it was always +/- 10 points of my CGM. While I was on a "carb controlled" diet, the kitchen couldn't tell me how many carbs were in anything, so I had to guess when it came to insulin dosing. Thankfully, with a closed loop system, the system will auto correct as long as I don't go too heavy on carb estimates, it just takes a bit longer to bring me back down to 80-90. If I had to go to a hospital again, I'd go here. They're generally great, even if some of the doctors don't spend much time with you. The nursing staff in particular is amazing. read more

This is the worst hospital ER I've ever been to in my life! I waited over 18 hours for a bed. I had several open wounds and no one wanted to touch me to change bandages while I waited for a room. I had to raise my voice to be acknowledged and helped. They had such and overflow of patients, they shut the ER down. They removed all of us from the ER 12am and made us wait until 11am to return. Absolutely despicable. Once I got a room, my experience didn't improve much. I did have a few great nurses and wound care team but some were so unorganized my treatment severely lacked. I was there for 9 days and thank God I'm out! I hope I never have to go back there again. read more

They rip you off if u are in patient perform unnecessary diagnostics each costing 10k. Doctors are not very experienced they keep experimenting. 63k for a 3 day . Room charges are sky high , food is mediocre . They take a payment before leaving which is not reflected in the bill. read more

My wife was in Tower B 5th floor. She has had a terrible experience on this floor. When you push the call button it takes forever for someone to come and then they a real bad attitude. My wife's ankle is in severe pain and no one seems to care. The pain meds they give her only last about an hour. She has asked numerous times to see a doctor but no one comes. She has been to Medical City Frisco and received outstanding care there. Medical City Plano could learn a lot from them. read more

I am writing this review as someone who saw first hand the wreckage of the visit my fiancé had at this hospital. He had an abscess under the skin of his right shoulder- these people proceeded to run NUMEROUS tests- to figure out his fever- and in the end realized it was his arm and there was an infection. The white lab coat doctors looked at it, left, and some woman who was not a nurse but NOT a doctor made a small incision, pushed some of it out, took two syringes full of infection, gave him antibiotics, and sent him out the door. That was Tuesday. Fast forward to now, Saturday, he still feels sick, not himself- and the abscess area is hardened, but less swollen. He decides to go into urgent care today and the doctor couldn't believe it. He has NEVER seen that much infection, and he can't believe they sent my fiancé home like that. Luckily this doctor emptied the rest. My fiancé said he's never seen that much puss in his entire life. I have never seen that much puss in my whole life. He went through 16 packs of 4x4 gauze and we don't know what the hospital was thinking but IT WAS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE LIKE THAT. How horrible. Did they think the antibiotics would take back the huge amount of puss left in his shoulder ? That they just LEFT THERE ? NEVER, ever recommending anyone go to that hell hole. They will not treat you correctly and send you out the door with some papers and a HUGE bill. Awful. Warning : Pictures attached for what the real doctors got out of his arm. This is a for profit hospital that it clearly shows on its business practice. I had a family member stayed here and I was disappointed with it's commitment to providing patients with high standard of care. Most nurses were busy on their phones and seemed annoyed when you ask them questions. Also they were very slow to respond to patient requests and would kept disappearing for hours at a time. I would stay far away from this hospital. read more

I had a CT scan and the technologist Pratima, Tesfa and Morgan were extremely helpful and explained the entire process! This seem like a VERY ghetto hospital and the staff has to deal with a lot attitude and shows. There is a huge like of empathy and I would never return by all means necessary. Just because it's in Plano don't mean you will get what you get. No bashing on any area but wow it was day and night treatment from being in Rowlett and Sachse medical facilities for sure. These guys really but the Dic in Medical City. It's a totally enormous hospital complex in Plano, which is pretty new and pretty shiny and full of patients and doctors - as you can imagine. Definitely one of the biggest hospitals I've seen in Texas, although they do make everything really big up here, again, as you can imagine. The one in Frisco looks more fancy and like it was just built yesterday, but this one is pretty fancy as well. It sucks that in this country you can't come in here and get yourself treated unless you have money. That's the main reason I'm not giving them a high rating. My friends in Carrollton we're coming here for a procedure and the other female partner could not accompany her so I took her instead. They treated her well and we had no real problems with the hospital but like I said it's disgusting how much insurance is and that there is even a thing called medical insurance and how much you will pay for your procedures here if you don't have it.
