Thai massage is a deep tissue massage where they hold onto bars mounted to the ceiling and use their feet to get extra pressure. I love firm pressure so this felt amazing. Sophia was incredible. It was easily one of the best 3 massages I've ever had. The other two were in Africa and Peru after hiking the Inca trail. I can handle a deep massage if it's on the muscles, but this was on bones. She then spent at least 40 minutes on my legs, but I really needed the knots under my shoulder blades worked and my neck. At the end she actually asked for a tip which I gave a small one, but didn't even want to leave this. I usually leave a generous tip, but not for whatever this was.

I talked to the lady at the front desk after and the masseuse has had her license for only 3 years. $130 not including a tip is pretty steep for a below average massage (based upon time spent on each muscle group, lack of special tools such as stones etc, and completely missing major body parts such as feet and calves). Save your money and go to one of the other spas in the area.
