History

Established in 2022.

Medicos of Tipton a new satellite clinic of the Camellia Foundation. The Camellia Foundation is based in North Memphis, TN, and works to provide primary healthcare to the underserved populations of Greater Memphis. We are a private non-profit organization, which allows us to provide broad scope care including pediatric and adult medicine, obstetrics, and outpatient surgery. Additionally, the organization has provided medical education in a variety of forms since 1999. This includes training for medical students, residents, and an in-house surgical obstetrics fellowship. We have also provided pre-medical school training for undergraduates, pre-residency training for foreign medical graduates, and clinical pathways for medical assistant credentialing. As a new satellite clinic, Medicos of Tipton works to continue this model as it aims to serve the residents of Tipton County and beyond.
