I saw a nurse practitioner here and I was very happy with my treatment. As mentioned by other users, I was initially hesitant because of negative reviews, but I felt so awful that I was willing to take the chance. I'm glad that I did. After several days of nausea and vomiting I needed IV fluids and anti-nausea meds. They were very kind and looked in on repeatedly as I was receiving fluids; they didn't forget about me as they juggled dealing with other patients. In the past I used Ashburn NOVA Medical, but they stopped urgent care services after merging with INOVA. Medics in Ashburn is a good alternative, especially when compared to a $1200 ER visit for the same services (the last time I was this sick I went to INOVA Ashburn healthplex). read more

I would give it zero stars. I have been going every year for my annual physicals. I went last Thursday and got blood work done. Got the results and received a call on Saturday that the NP would like to discuss the labs. Called the office atleast 7 times before I could get through. I scheduled a phone call at 1:00 pm and waited for the call back but nothing. Then I called multiple times again and received a message say the NP will only do a televisit so they can charge me $35 for copay and charge my insurance. I messaged back saying I do not want to do a televisit and would like to discuss my labs over a phone call. My labs were really bad and needed immediate attention and medication. But because I refused to pay medics USA did not even care and did not call me. Monday again I called several times and they gave me the same crap that doctor will be able to give your appropriate treatment if they see you in person. This place is a scam! BEWARE AND GO ELSEWHERE. I went for vertigo symptoms. The doctor prescribed medication which they never filled. I called - they never answer their phones. I left a message. They called me back but when I answered they hung up. I called them-I had to leave another message. No return call. I went up to the office.The receptionist called the medication in and made it seem like she had to leave a VM with CVS pharmacy. CVS sent me a message saying they are trying to get in touch with the office to verify the medication and nothing. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. They probably are not licensed. They just charge people and bill insurance company. SERIOUSLY stay away from this place!!!! You might end up really sick or dead if you mess around with clinic! Dr. Ghasemzadeh is careless and negligent. She never took the time to call my husband to explain results of his blood work. We contacted other physicians who explained the results patiently and in an informative way so he could make an informed decision about his health. She even forgot to mention a routine test for me which is recommended by AMA and my specialist told me about getting colonoscopies after 45 years of age. Please stay away from this practice unless if you want to file a complaint with the VA Medical Board. I think it is time for her to retire and save face. read more

Every time I asked about how much I owe, the front desk person replied "Nothing" with a friendly smile. A few days later I receive of bill for hundreds of dollars (this was just for the first visit, so I am unfortunately expecting more bills). They should explain their billing process instead of just saying you don't owe anything, and then get a surprise bill later. Also they sent an antibiotic prescription for only 3 days worth, when the condition I have will takes weeks to heal. I guess they want to force patients to visit their office since you cannot get a refill without visiting their office. When I complained about this, they filled the prescription for 10 days. Oh, but wait! They sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy, in Chicago IL, but their office is in Ashburn, VA. Moreover, they don't have a direct line to their local office, so when you call the number listed, you get to a central dispatching office, and they tell you that you cannot call the local office directly. Went in for routine blood work. It's been over 2.5 weeks since they took my blood and I still haven't gotten any results. I called them multiple times to get to the bottom of this and have gotten the run around every time. 0 STAR. Fraud, fraud, fraud. Do not visit Medics USA. I went to them to get medically cleared for a government job that had a strict deadline. I got a physical done and needed them to sign off the last paper. The doctor I saw did not sign off of it since the paper was sent to the call center who never forwarded it to the receptionist. Things get lost in translation, I get it. I show up to get my last paper signed....they tell me the doctor I saw is on family emergency and will be back well after my deadline. I emphasized that I could get disqualified from the job from this delay.... A whole month of waiting for the paper... I asked if I could get the doctor in the office to sign off on it....no they didn't have time. But "they would in a couple days... no need to worry". I told her I would be out of state that same night...no worries she said. I get a call today and they want me to come IN for a SECOND physical and pay another $700 without insurance so they can SIGN OFF MY MEDICAL HISTORY.....what kind of bs? They could not do a virtual interview. Not only have I already done the physical, but I have to pay for it TWICE because of your doctor's medical emergency??? What kind of service is this?? I just decided to change primary doctor and went today for the first time to this location for a physical and to discussed 2 other concerns. The "nurse" asked me the approximate weight/height instead of actually confirming that information as any other doctor office, she didn't check temperature. The doctor first question after I said something was: do you speak Farsi? ‍then Spanish.. I used to have patient first as my primary as it was convenient but changed as I wanted to have a regular doctor.. not the best choice so far ... I. My humble opinion they are a cheapest version of a walk in clinic... I regretted the change at the moment I started dealing with nurse... I wasn't feeling good at all today, I have a device in my mouth/plus braces and the mask just in case that's why they asked about the language I speak I will give at least the doctor a shot as he said something interesting that can help hopefully one of the issues I discussed as I wasn't able to present the second issue I still have. read more

After several phone calls and messages to get them to email a document, I was told an appointment was needed to get it. Why? So they get extract more money most likely. And even after showing up to get the document, I was LIED to. They "attempted" to print the document while I was there, knowing damn well they hadn't prepared it. After waiting several minutes, I asked that it be emailed and faxed. Was it? Nope. Several weeks later I've called again and told it would be sent EOD (of course it wasn't). Honestly really annoyed. After having been here and them having records of me actually being there, I was charged $250 for being a "new patient" and only being seen by the doctor for barely two minutes. I was sick and I went in and the nurse said there was a chance of the flu and asked if I wanted a flu test, I asked if it was covered by my insurance and she said yes and now I'm being charged. It is the worst care I have received, they do not have customer service, I went to a consultation with the doctor Ghasemzadeh, and they took the data of my medical insurance, they made a copy of it and I filled out the forms they ask for, when I finished the consultation there was no one at the front end and I asked the doctor if I could go because they had taken my insurance information and she told me to go. After 10 minutes, the secretary sent me an e-mail, called the energy contact and called me to tell me that I left without paying and that I should come back to pay for the consultation. I came back and they billed my credit card for $125. It seemed strange to me because I had covered my plan's deductible this year and I should only have to pay 25% of the value of the consultation. I called my health insurance and they told me that my plan does not have co-pay that the doctor's office should send them the bill and then that the insurance covers them, they should send me a bill with the outstanding balance. I call the front end of Medics USA and the secretary told me that this was my co-pay $125, I asked her...How much the consultation costs??? $650 and she answer me...YES. I spoke with the billing department and they told me that they would send the bill to my insurance and then they would refund my credit card as my insurance informed me. After making several phone calls to PPO's in my network for a breast specialist without success, I called on June 1 to ask for a referral since I had a PPO. I asked several times to just be referred to a breast specialist since I had a PPO. I was told it was a "good idea" to come in anyway, which caused unnecessary billing for a service. It's fraud to require someone in a PPO to come in for a referral, and should not be billed. I do not recommend this clinic. read more

First of all if you are using their online zocdoc system to book an appointment don't bother. Once I came in for my appointment that I booked two weeks earlier they told me that the doctor wasn't available that day (then why list her as available?), and despite having made an appointment 2 weeks prior I still had to wait behind two other people before seeing a different doctor. I ended up having to get blood drawn twice from there unnecessarily after they forgot to check for hemoglobin a1c after having stressed the importance to the doctor and technician multiple times during the visit. I'm having to make my third appointment soon and still have not received the prescription refills that I have asked for each appointment. The doctor I had met with was very dispassionate and had a sour demeanor. The front desk staff seems very unprofessional especially over the phone. Every time i've received a call or made one the staff answering seemed to either have an attitude or did not sound like they knew what they were doing. The zocdoc appointment scheduling has dissapointed me the most as it appears to me that they don't even use it or look at the appointments that were made online, so what is the point of having it on their website? I called them on a Monday because I was feeling sick and they told me the Dr would call me and she never did. When I called the next day the Dr left a "note" for me and then I asked for a referral to get a Covid test and they forwarded me to a number to leave a message. I called again on Thursday and was forwarded to the same number and left another message requesting a referral to get a Covid test. I called AGAIN on Friday and was told "It doesn't work that way" The Drs Never gave me a phone appointment and then refused to give me a referral! Do not rely on these doctors to do the best for you! I have been a patient of this practice for over 12 years and I go to the Ashburn location most of the time. I love all the doctors specially Dr Roksana and Dr Rashid..they are very knowledgeable and they have very good bedside manner. They listen to my problems and they address my concerns without rushing me. I wouldn't change my medical care for any reason. Great service every time walkin or appointment. Fast service but if you need to take time and talk to the Doctor they will listen to you and help you. Seen few doctors before in those high end offices but this one I stick with, my favorite is Dr Roksana. I never get bill from them but I know it depends on your insurance too. When my parents came to visit I took them there and for self pay price of $85 was good deal. I go to MEDICS USA for 4 years now and sometimes is busy but when I see my eye Doctor in same plaza and have to wait with appointment at list hour and a half. some people are just not good for that they like to be in and out, not even Minute clinic does that fast. Whether you have an appointment or not, you have to wait 30-45 mins. It was surprising to me that they send the walk-in patients first before someone with an appointment. I went there to get a PPD skin test that only takes 5 min to be administered and no diagnosis is required. I took my 7 - months old with me thinking that it'll be quick. However, despite having an appintment, I waited half and hour without being called. I complained and the receptionist said that I have to wait another 10-15 mins bc there are a few walk-ins inside yet. Truly disappointed of the service! read more

She is the Worst Doctor....Try to avoid her. I made appointment for annual checkup for myself and the family. The receptionists were clueless...I mentioned to the doctor that I need my prescription pills as I'm running out of it soon. after several hours of blood work (Not to mention that she or her assistant cannot even draw blood without attempting several times and hurt you with needles multiple times) & all other examinations she started talking us into sending us to the multiple Doctor friends of hers. Then we got a call from that clueless receptionist with the lab result! telling me that my 15 year old daughter has Kidney problem and so many other things goes wrong with her. Then I asked Kidney? She said no maybe her liver !!! to make the story short, the rest of the family of 4 never received the full result in writing but scaring us over the phone. Then I asked to go to the office to get my much needed prescription for my thyroid that I need to take on the daily basis and she asked for office fee instead of sending the prescription to my Pharmacy (Like every other Doctors that I visited) or have the prescription ready for me. Now I'm bombarded with the lab fees that we never got the written result on and I'm out of my prescription pills and need to go through blood work with another Doctor to get my pills.
