There is a real emergency room at Lansdowne Hospital just a few miles away, and like I said before unless you get hit in the parking lot by a unruly driver (I would still recommend you think twice) go to Lansdowne where they wont rip you off with predatory contracts, and unsavory billing methods. Hopefully their will be something useful to the community moving in when they file Bankruptcy. Their business practices are criminal to say the least. Fat-cat business managers telling young uniformed employees what to say because they do not have the fortitude to pick up the phone and talk to disgruntled customers. If you work here there are so many other places you can work. Why waste your careers on such a uncaring company.

My fiancé and I showed up promptly at 8:30 am on Saturday 7/27. We payed $200 for the service upon entry. We were seen very quickly as we were the only ones there that early. The doctor looked at my ankle and touched it in one area which hurt and she just said, "ok, I'm going to put you on antibiotic". She left the room and that was it! No diagnosis nothing! The nurse came back in with two pieces of paper. My diagnosis was Cellulitis which can be very serious! My mother was hospitalized for it once before. I started the antibiotic immediately and by the following day (today) I had spiked a fever of 102.2 and had many aches. I called for advice as my paperwork says that I should "return for a final examination in 7-10 days or sooner if signs of systemic infection (eg, fever with expanding cellulitis) or abscess recurrence are present". I explained my symptoms and was merely told that I should go to the hospital for bloodwork if I'd like. I've already spent $200 at this point and was given no verbal instructions on how to care for this or signs to watch out for. I called back to ask for answers to my questions since I had spent $200. This was at 3:15 and they told me that they were very busy and would call when they can. My life could be in danger and I think I deserve instructions and answers before I go pay through the roof hospital bills during my insurance lapse before my new job which starts tomorrow! If I was going to have to do that anyway I would have gone there first and saved myself the initial $200 at urgent care! Fast forward to 7/31 the infection got worse! I went to Patient First where the customer service was superb and it's much more affordable paying out of pocket. After blood work and changing my prescription to the correct one the amount was lower than what I paid at Express Care for nothing positive! They had put me on the wrong meds at Express Care and even after experiencing many of the serious side effects they advised me to continue use of the meds they had prescribed. Very unhappy and I want my money back!

    This place has turned into a urgent care for individuals with colds back aches etc…read more referred to ER 12/22/2025. Arrived 1510. Checked in w billing 1530 1545. Vitals taken. Told to wait. lol. I was sent here because surgeon believe I have a blood clot. After having surgery 5 days prior. Leg is swollen to the point looking like Popeye's forearm. 2 hours later. Still waiting. Now. 1720. No organization. No color tagging white to blk based on alignment. 1725. They just took a patient for a chest xray that came in 30 min after me. Sorry I have to laugh. He is hacking going a chest X-ray. Unfortunately. Now it's BS I have to click 1 star - negative numbers for service prioritizing. DOES NOT EXIST HERE. 1730. Still nothing. Go elsewhere!!!!!

When I called to inquire about walk-in availability, the male receptionist who answered sounded as if he was half-asleep and was very difficult to understand. I genuinely could not make out what he was saying, so I politely asked him to repeat himself. Instead of clarifying, he responded in a blunt and dismissive tone. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. To top it off, right as I was wrapping up the call and saying "okay thank you," he hung up on me before I even finished my sentence. That lack of basic courtesy left a really negative impression. Again, I have no complaints about the doctors or the actual care, but the attitude of the person answering the phones makes a huge difference in how patients perceive the office. First impressions matter, and this one was disappointing.

    I have been a patient at LSFP for 25 years. This practice is a shadow of what it once was. The…read moredecline has been gradual, but steady, and has reached a point where I can't recommend avoiding this practice enough. Appointments now consist of basic questions and exams that barely touch the service of issues. My last physical didn't even include a hernia exam, and I'm a 39 year old male with a history of hernias. The nurse practitioners they have on staff are under-qualified at best. The front desk staff are rude, and the intake nurses are also unprofessional. This practice has lost any idea of what customer service means and seems to now be an appointment mill that bills your insurance for telling you to buy some Motrin and get some bed rest. Today was the last straw for us. My wife recently gave birth naturally and our OBGYN recommended we see our PCP for a referral for physical therapy for a month from now to help get her back on her feet and speed her recovery. We called and scheduled an appointment for this specific purpose with the front desk who confirmed that they could give a referral for PT. After waiting for an hour, my wife was seen by a family nurse practitioner that took her temperature and blood pressure, checked her height and weight, eyes and ears, and listened to her breathing. Then, without any examination of her pelvic floor muscles, said that PT 'wasn't indicated' at this time and we should come back for another appointment after our 6 week checkup with our OBGYN for ANOTHER appointment. She explained that we had been sent by the OBGYN to get a referral but the FNP refused to issue the referral and sent her packing. I went in to address this with the front desk and they gave me the run-around, then brought out a 'provider' who first said she had seen my wife but after having me explain the whole situation told me she was just the intake nurse, then asked me to re-explain the situation, then laughed when I said I didn't want to explain myself again and wanted to talk to the actual nurse that had seen my wife. All in all it was a nice hour and fifteen minutes absolutely wasted by the front desk and clinical staff because of their inability to listen and/or be upfront about what services they are willing and able to provide. To LSFP - if you can not or will not offer a service then perhaps your front desk staff shouldn't confirm the appointment for it. Your practice used to be great, and now it is a terrible place to go for care and competent customer service. I've had better customer service at McDonald's. Your front desk staff especially leaves a lot to be desired in the professionalism department. 25 years as a patient and I have never been treated the way I was treated today. We won't be back. Get it together.
