I had been trying to have a baby for about 6 years. I did not have any medical reason unable to have a baby. I had tried artificial insemination twice and had herbal medicine from other clinic as well, but I did not get any good news. Can't say enough about this place, its amazing! I came to Dr. son recommended by a friend in kick boxing who raved about acupuncture ridding her of pain throughout the entire body. At that time, I had just been diagnosed with multiple degenerative disc disorder which caused me acute and chronic low back pain.  I was in such bad pain, I could not put my clothes on. Doctors recommended physical therapy, and while I knew in time it may offer relief, I was desperate for immediate pain release. I was ignorant and skeptical about this alternative treatment. My professional background being in Psychology, I thought logically my doctors would have referred me to acupuncture if it were true. I was reluctant to believe the claims of my dear friend who assured me that I would feel better immediately. It just sounded to good to be true. Well, I tried it and was never happier to have been so wrong. Not only did Dr. Son and his wife receive me with open arms, they literally cared for me and offered me a very reasonable price. They listened, took note of my physical pain, and offered herbal teas/medicine. Most importantly, Dr. Son was very honest with me about the treatment he recommended. He said it would realistically take 5-6 sessions to treat the trauma to my lower back and regain a level of normalcy. After having acupuncture that day, I IMMEDIATELY felt better. By session three, I felt incredibly better. By session five, I was able to lesson the session frequency. My friend and I continue to come to him as a wellness treatment. Kangson and his wife are Angels in disguise sent from God. Kangson expertise of acupuncture and his knowledge of medicinal herbs are beyond perfection. He has changed my mother's life for the better she can now breathe like normal and doesn't need to take allergy medication everyday anymore, even after she was in the hospital for a month and almost dies and the docotrs still couldn't help her issues. They just kept pumping her with meds that would make her worse. He is caring and makes sure you leave his office better than you came in. He has also help me with pain in my neck, back, and chest. Where do I start without crying. I had been in chronic pain due to 5 bulging cervical discs because of a car accident in which I was hit from behind while working ( so this became a workmans comp injury) mind you I am a nurse and work for a hospital. After almost 2 years of Physical therapy, chiropractic visits they were treating me for Whiplash , I started to get numbness and tingling to left arm and pain was still bad. My primary doctor stepped in and demanded an MRI that's when it was discovered what was really wrong , I was told surgery was the way to go to live life without the pain I was in. So I had surgery 2/4/2019 for distecomy, decompression with fusion of cervical disc 3-5. Surgery went very well I thought I was in heaven literally no pain when I woke up., after about Day 5 pain came back., everyday seemed worse ., I kept hearing it would take time. Month 5 still at home recovering with pain continuing to get worse accupuncture was ordered they approved it through their place which was Chinese accupuncture , they gave me only 6 visits ., I started to get movement in my neck as I couldn't turn anymore so I was pleased pain was still pretty bad. Doctor ordered 16 more visits as they said because my injury was old and I may have scar tissue with inflammation that it would possibly take that many to feel better. So I waited for approval and waited 1 month later it was denied. I was so upset I decided to take it into my own hands instead of waiting on workmans comps mercy and I searched for accupuncture this time I was interested in Korean as I've heard wonderful things about it. GOD lead me to Dr Son I called on a Friday was in on Saturday , and now on treatment number 6 , what a huge change. I have mobility , I'm sore, pain isn't intense and constant as it has been for the last 6 1/2 months. I see and feel improvement every single time. I go twice a week. I must add my pain was so bad that my left side of my lower lip and lower face started to turn in, my doctor said because of swelling it was pushing on a nerve, well doctor son fixed that. I was also feeling so much better I went out for tacos I must of had too much chili and had a bad gastritis attack luckily I was due to see Dr Son even though it seems funny I was hurting needless to say he fixed that too!! Don't give up hope, sometimes you have to be your own advocate and take your health into your own hands. His kind and gentle manner will make you feel comfortable instantly. His wife is just as nice. He was the first person to ever tell me he would help me and not to worry , he said I would be ok. NO ONE has ever made me feel as if there was a light at the end of this tunnel. I have been coming to this place ever since I was a little girl. It all started when I had an allergic reaction. I went to several doctors to get it treated but no antibiotics seemed to work. I then went to Dr. Son and the herbal teas and treatment he gave me helped me get better in a few days. I visited weekly throughout my high school years for back pain as well as injuries, and my college years for anxiety and trouble sleeping. This is my first experience with acupuncture and I couldn't have anticipated a better outcome. I'm being treated for back inflammation (4 bulging discs & one that's ruptured), tendonitis in my shoulders & now a pinced nerve in my neck that's left my left arm with limited mobility.
