Each table was served family style and the platters held more than enough food for everyone. Did I mention it tasted great? The open bar was nice and conveniently located. They actually stocked Bacardi 151. When do you see that at a wedding? There were plenty accompaniments to make actual mixed drinks as well. I did notice that the bartender seemed very overwhelmed at times. Perhaps they should review their ratios and get her a partner. Otherwise a great time was had.

The decor was beautiful and well arranged. The AV equipment worked exactly as it should and everyone in attendance was amazed at how beautiful our venue was. The gardens were well maintained enjoyable for our guests. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible. I can't say enough about how beautiful and classy this venue is and how much of a pleasure it was to work with Mooreland's staff.

The hall looked beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We had such a fun time. A couple other bonuses are that the you get the hall until midnight, you can bring your own alcohol and they have the perfect stage if you want a band at your event. I would highly recommend St. Demetrios if you are looking for a wedding venue on the west side of Cleveland. Thank you for making our day so special!

My friend got married last weekend, and this is where the reception was…read more At first, I was puzzled by the fact that the ceremony was in the early afternoon and the reception wasn't until six, but that gave me the opportunity to see the entire first half of the Michigan State-Notre Dame game, so I was a happy camper. This place teaches you not to judge a venue by its exterior. OK, so the architect's son part of me absolutely judges a venue by its exterior, but the me part of me was pleasantly surprised and even kind of excited that this place looks so much better inside than it does outside. It's in a random, industrial-looking part of Euclid. The building itself is just a gigantic cinder-block rectangle, and the parking lot looks like millions of other beat-up parking lots in snowbelt cities around the Great Lakes. Walking from the parking lot to the entrance, you won't be impressed. Even when you enter, you're kind of expecting the worst. But when you get inside, it's nice. It's not gaudy and tacky, which is what many wedding places are like, but it's not as bare bones as the exterior would lead you to believe either. I really enjoyed the wedding, but that had a lot more to do with the fact that my friend was marrying a wonderful guy, I was sitting at a fun table, Notre Dame had won, and USC had lost. Overall, it was a basically perfect September Saturday. The icing on the (wedding) cake, though, was that I found a Where's George bill in one of the tip baskets at the bar. I promptly bought this bill so that I could enter it. The next day, I proceeded to leave my backpack at the home of the friend of a friend I was staying with, so I didn't get to enter the bill until my backpack was shipped all the way back to San Francisco. Oh right, Tizzano's. It's a cool place. If you're trying to impress people when they drive up, you can do much better. If you don't care about that, then this place will do.

The Madison is a blank space event space that has incredible potential for various events…read more Every-time I'm at the Madison, I feel like the space transforms to something completely different and fitting to the event. I went to various events here - fashion shows, markets, food events, Christmas celebrations, and other. There are multiple huge spaces, two bars, and a lot of space to create your perfect event. I have also seen various very cool lighting in this space. I last visited women's event tonight at this location. The owners were very friendly and worked in collaborative manner with the organizers. The space was able to host over 200 guests and still allowed ample space to roam. This event space has large onsite parking lots. Street parking is also available in the area.

The space was perfect for it with it's blank interior and warehouse vibes. The restrooms were clean, the bar was great, and the staff was friendly. I liked the separate stage area and the multiple photo ops scattered around. Parking near the venue was not hard to find either. The only bummer was that it was shut down early because of the neighbors complaining about the sound. Word on the street is they won't be able to have shows here anymore. And by no fault of the venue whatsoever. Hopefully they can eventually find a way to make it work because it was awesome. No matter the event, I can see this venue being a lovely option. Whether a wedding, special event, heck even a conference, or work gathering, this space is a solid choice.

This is my first Western style wedding that was served family style, and I liked it! I thought the chicken was too dry, and could really have used much more gravy, but the beef was good, and I loved the horseradish sauce that went with it. The service was excellent, and the bar tenders delightful. They also knew what the names of the drinks you may ask for were.... I've been to some places west of Philly where they didn't know what a Cuba Libre was made with. I appreciate knowledgeable bartenders. Also, the bathroom is nice, and they equipped the women's rooms with pads, tampons, and q-tips. That was a nice touch.
