We ordered 3 dishes and shared: Italian burger, rib eye, and pasta with prawns. The waiter was extremely nice and helped translate everything in English for us since the menus are in Dutch. The portions were big! The Italian burger was juicy and had tons of flavor. The rib eye was enormous and good quality but it needed salt which we added ourselves. The highlight was the pasta. It had tons of shrimp, fresh greens, and the sauce was light and aromatic (amazing olive oil). I definitely recommend coming here while visiting Utrecht. Olive dares to be different, though culinary freestyle isn't the word, Olive serves a wrap and a burger that more than hold their own against anything around. Olive is a Greek establishment, and food choices reflect that. At lunch, try a delicious Greek salad (choriatiki) or prasopita. The gyro pita is quite nice - the best part is that prices are more than reasonable. I like to kick back outside on the nice terrace with an ouzo and reminisce of finer days in Greece, but when Greece is far away, Olive is a wonderful substitute. (The crew is serious and the chefs in the kitchen are often preparing for often-fully-booked dinners)
