Really a great setting. They have any kind of drinks but go for the home brewed beer... light, fresh and very very yummy. The ambiance is quite homey and there is also a big fireplace. The meal was phenomenal, every dish was a beautiful blending of textures and flavors. They cleverly paired the dishes for each course. Everything looked perfect, starting with the food, but the whole dining area was a lovely space, including the view into the open kitchen. Even the flower arrangements around the dining room were strikingly beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed a beer from Utrecht's own Brouwerij Eleven to accompany my meal. Koenraad's selection of beer is smaller than their extensive wine list, but has a reasonable amount of variety. I didn't look at the wine list in detail, but the other parties present seemed pleased with their selections.
