Just seen the Panorma programme on BBC This company are a disgrace from the top down. Be kind to your pet and take them elsewhere.

If anything I like the veterinarians taking their time to look at each animal ensuring they haven't missed anything. This time I was late by 5 minutes to my scheduled appointment. They refused to see my cat, and told me they are rescheduling me on Monday (today is Thursday). I am appalled that they have rejected to see my cat, I am worried for him and it is their job to see if anything is wrong. I would understand if I was late by 20 minutes plus. This just shows me, this place is a business and the veterinarians don't really care for animals but actually care about income. I'm not sure whether my cat will be ok or not but if he does get better it's no help from them. Would leave 0 starts if possible

As an animal lover and a cat owner, of course I want the best for my pet…read more When I decided to neuter my cat I started looking for vet clinics in W10. Some were super expensive and didn't provide after care and other clinics were just too far. Finally I found St Helens. I phoned them up and they were super polite, helpful and answered all my questions. The night before her operation they called me to see how the cat was and to remind me not to feed her that night . The price of the operation was around £200 but the service was incredible. I dropped off the cat at 9 am, she had her jabs done, deworming, her operation and they kept her there until she was fully awake and they were absolutely sure that there is no problem to send her home. They gave me special food -like special post operation food- pain killers, meds, protection collar, next day free check-up and another free checkup after 2 weeks. The place is very welcoming and big, big windows- loads of natural light, there is a small waiting area, a little shop area as well and just incredible people working there. Very professional.

This kind of impressed, mildly reverent awe seemed to be the theme of the day, as the class, professionalism, and kind attention afforded to us by the staff made what could have been a deeply depressing and stressful experience into something that actually wasn't too bad. We brought our poor, ill little buddy in with potential lily poisoning (Lilies are super duper toxic to cats--who knew?) and after his initial appraisal and assessment, we were sent off to kill an hour while we awaited the results of his blood tests. We returned after a good pub lunch up the road and got the news that the cat was doing well but would have to stay over for a few days. As neurotic of a cat-mama as I am, I actually felt ok leaving him in the care of the Village Vet staff. The facilities were quite nice, the staff were brilliant, and the selection of organic pet foods and feather-y toys on springs caused me to geek out and unnecessarily spend too much money. Everyone had very, very posh accents, so I felt that I ought to spend more money than I could really afford to so that I feel like I fit in there. We've been getting regular phone updates from the Reception team as to our little guy's progress. Every person who has phoned us with updates has been upbeat, friendly, and knowledgeable about our kitten's health situation. We're expecting to bring him home tomorrow night and I can't wait to cuddle him like the cuddly little thing he is.

Unfortunately, my experience with Village Vet Hampstead put my dog's wellbeing at risk due to a lack of organization and poor clinical follow-through. I attended this clinic despite seeing several negative reviews, hoping my experience would be different. Unfortunately, those reviews proved accurate. I provided Village Vet with my dog's full clinical history from the US. Despite this, they refused to prescribe the medication she needed to treat an active UTI until lab results returned, assuring me the results would take 24-28 hours. Three days passed with no communication. I went into the clinic in person and was told at reception that they would follow up with the lab and contact me. I still heard nothing. I returned again the following day. At that point, I still had no answers about her cultures and no medication was provided--yet I was charged £150 for the culture + £70 consultation fee regardless. The lack of urgency, communication, and accountability was deeply concerning, particularly given that this involved an untreated infection. I am sharing this review to help other pet owners avoid a similar experience. For comparison, Highgate Veterinary Clinic was an excellent alternative. The vet was compassionate, thorough, and spent approximately 45 minutes with me and my dog to ensure she fully understood her condition and treatment needs. They are independently run, which may account for the clear difference in care.
