my partner and I took our 9year old staffie bitch to the rspca and they said she would need an emergency operation and to take her to putney animal hospital,They would not take her in one of the rspca vans unless we gave them £60.00 ! a mini cab would have been £15/20, we got a friend to take her and waited 2 hours to be seen, they admitted the dog and did not do the op for 3 days, They told us to pick up our dog and gave her pain killers and antibiotics, We were a bit concerned that the instructions on the box of pain killers said " DO NOT GIVE TO ANIMALS WITH lIVER AND KIDNEY PROBLEMS" The medication made her sick and she would not eat , we phoned the vet every day to let them know she was still not eating ( almost 9 days now ) They told us to bring her in as she may be dying ! we arrived at putney 9pm and waited to see a vet for 3 hours,Only to be told that nothing was wrong after taking her tempeture only , The vet was very rude and said that it was not an emergencey and to pay £7.00 BEFORE WE LEAVE.
The following day our poor little girl was not moving and was just staring up as us, we phoned our friend who said he would pay for a private vet to look at her.
We took her to the private vet and he said he needed her records from putney , putney were reluctant to do this but did so , The blood tests showed that she had renal failure and he said " this dog must really Love you because by rights she should have died days ago " The only thing to do was to let her go.
The vet said that if blood tests had been done they would have known that an op would have been in vain, she should not have had the op ! and the medication only done more damage to the Liver. PUNTNEY ANIMAL HOSPITAL KILLED MY DOG AND PUT HER THROUGH PAIN AND SUFFERING ALL FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY,NO CARE OR THOUGHT FOR THE DOG , TOTAL NEGLECT.
THE RSPCA HAS LOST ITS WAY ! IT IS A MONEY MAKING BUSINESS UNDER THE GUISE OF A CHARITABLE ORGANISATION. £119 MILLION POUNDS AND STILL BEGGING FOR MORE ! read more
