You could tell they put love and care into each dog and get to know them, which is the most important part to me! The only bummer was the booking process. I confirmed my total cost with them twice before arriving so that we could plan financially, and then it ended up being an extra $85 once I dropped them off because of the holiday weekend ($65 for holiday pickup, $10 holiday fee per dog). I understand this logic and I'm totally willing to pay for the holiday weekend, we just felt a bit blindsided. I think it was an honest miscalculation on their part, and like I said my dogs had a great stay where they were cared for, so we would use them again!

His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

This was the first time we were going to be away from our fur girl for any extended period of time and had a ton of reservations about what to do with Mabel during our trip. Alicia put all of our worries at ease right away. Prior to our vacation, she encouraged us to bring Mabel over for a tour of the facilities and my wife was shocked with how quickly Mabel warmed up to her. Throughout the entire trip, Alicia would text my wife with a pic or video of our girl and she literally looked like she was living her best dog life!! From swimming excursions to playing with other doggos, Mabel looked very happy and like she was enjoying herself immensely. The extra care and communication with us was just entirely next level and really gave us a worry-free time away. This is an exceptional business and we would trust them time and again if we ever decide to take another extended trip or if we just needed a dog sitter for a day or so.
