Customer service! It took 9 weeks from the time they received my prescription before I started getting product, so I had to buy all my supplies until they got on board. Then they shipped the wrong quantities. There is no urgency in getting their customers their products. They don't return phone calls! I was taught that the customer is always right! I had a great experience with this company. My patient lift device that I rely on for all of my daily activities broke down. I was in a real bind since I can't even get out of bed without this device, and suddenly found myself without it. I knew it was going to take months to get the old one fixed, or get a new one authorized and delivered. I called several local companies, and could only find one company that had the correct replacement to rent while waiting for the new one. Unforunately though, they would not bill insurance and would only accept private payment and the rental was very expensive. Then MedOne was recommended to us. Their response was awesome. Brian called back immediately. He listened to my concerns, and clearly cared about my situation. Within the same day he had the rental device delivered to my home. He was extremely professional and pleasant, and bent over backwards to make sure I quickly received what I needed. MedOne was also very helpful in working with my medical insurance company. I can't even give a rating for this company as every time I have to deal with them they upset me so and I end up talking to manager or owner. My mom was assigned to them when leaving the hospital I believe in 2006. Had to put in something but I don't think they even deserve a 1. Do yourself a favor and check with your Dr.'s office and check out the company's first. You will be happier in the long run. I won't bore you with all the stories I can tell, but the last replacement machine needed replaced 3 times as each one was bad. And don't forget you have to give up a full day waiting on delivery. I contacted our Pulmonary Dr. office requesting help finding a new company. Got one that I hope is better. Medone picked up their machine yesterday 2/2/18. I was told I would get a call with arrival time beginning after 1:00PM. I expected an afternoon pick up. Guy called and said he would be here in 5 minutes. It was 6:50PM when he arrived. Then he wasn't going to give me anything showing oxygen machine was picked up so I took his delivery order. Wasted a whole day!! They don't have a clue what customer service means. read more

I need supplies for chronic respiratory issues and heard there was a new company which actually takes care of customers and doesn't treat you like an Inconvienence. I called to make an appointment and the person was very friendly and helpful. Even though they were busy- they got me an appointment right away. I met with a respiratory therapist and he was great. Very knowledgable and helpful, and clearly knew knew his stuff. The RT helped me get set up with my supplies and educated me on all the options. I've ised other providers before where you are just an annoying number, but at MedOne, they treat you like a valued customer, and they clearly take pride in getting things right, and taking care of business. Rather than come in once a month- MedOne will Mail me my supplies so it's automatic- which I really appreciate. Well done MedOne, it's nice to see that great customer service still exists. read more

Not very responsive to messages left. Don't seem very motivated to help solve problems. I feel like communication is not a strength for them. Instead of them calling back I have to make several attempts to call and try to get ahold if someone. Good at make appointments but not good at keeping them. Horrible custom service. Might answer one out of 10 calls. When they do answer, they transfer you to someone else who, guess what, never picks up. You are prompted to leave a message and they say they will return your call by the end of the day or within 24 hours. That NEVER happens. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

MedOne customer service is very poor. I called for a new CPAP mask and they said they needed a prescription. My doctor promptly sent one to them and I called a few days later and they denied getting it. I had gotten a call a few days previous from MedOne saying that they had received the prescription. Finally called them again they said that they would order the mask and would call me if there was a copay. Over a week later I had not received a call or a mask. I called again today and the representative said I had a copay and the mask would not be sent out until she had the payment. Bottom line is that the representatives do NOT follow up..even when they assure you that they will. read more

I have been using MedOne Healthcare in Tempe for 2 1/2 years. For the first six months they were good and I was a happy customer, then it's as if someone flipped a switch and it all went to hell. Current example: I am oxygen dependent and called last week for new cannula. You never get a person to answer, you always have to leave a message. I did get a call back within a couple hours and explained what I needed. The guy on the phone started to tell me how I should already have enough cannula because they last 2 weeks. I explained I work fulltime so I have cannula on my portable tanks and another on my oxygen machine at home. I change those every 2 weeks because regardless of how much I use them in that 2 week period, they get hard and scratch/irritate the skin surface at the 2 week mark which causes infections. He came across as irritated that I justify needing the cannula. He stated they would send some out which I should have received last Thursday. Today is late afternoon on Monday, I still hadn't received the order so I called again. This time a guy who identified himself as "Hector" said he ...didn't know at the time he took the order that they were out of the 7 foot cannula...". I said "and you couldn't call me to let me know that?". His response was "I was going to do it today. Ummmmm. I had other things I had to do." Seriously? I told him I was going to call my insurance up and look for a different home healthcare provider and then he said he has 4 ft cannula. I said if he had offered that last week I would taken it for the portable tanks as I prefer the shorter ones for those tanks anyway. His response was "ummm". There are some nice people there, when I wanted to go on a trip and needed a portable oxygenator there was a young woman who helped me rent one from them for which I was and am very grateful. It's a shame the ongoing deplorable customer service throws a shadow over the glimmers of good work. Perhaps some of those in charge at MedOne will end up being a customer and will experience the frustration and aggravation themselves. read more

Med one is so awesome. Their whole staff is caring and very empathetic. Recently they have helped my husband get his new wheelchair, without their help he wouldn't have gotten it at all, Med one went above and beyond to reach out and help him. I would recommend Med one to anyone who wants to feel special and know a company really cares. I have ordered my CPAP 3 month supply the beginning of March and also ordered the 2 additional cushions for my husband which was suppose to be sent once he got machine setup. I have called a couple different numbers and all I keep getting is either a voicemail or someone that answers and tells me someone will call within 24 hours and NO calls returned. Your website states how important it is to change your supplies but that is impossible when you don't get your supplies when you order. This is getting frustrated to where I feel I need to go find a new place. read more

No one knows how to follow through and failed to outline their responsibilities as it relates to Medicare! Finally after a week of trying to get new equipment from a different supplier... they MEDONE had a salesman call me to tell me how stupid I was and that I didn't understand how Medicare worked for the CPAP PROGRAM. Of course when I started therapy 3 months ago, I would have thought they would have told me. Don't call them unless you have 24 hrs. for a return call. These guys will cost you thousands more than a good DME. They are not HIPPA compliant (I am not the only one that has complained about their sloppy handling of your confidential information, setting you up for medical identity theft which is big these days). Their service is poor (they don't return phone calls or follow up on issues). I used them for a few months and had so many big problems, I moved to H&L Medical in Scottsdale and so far they are wonderful to work with. They insisted my insurance needed a new prescription so I could get a cpap mask which I later found out I didn't need, unfortunately after I spent the money and time to get one. I asked about replacing the cpap and they said my insurance would never replace them, I would have to send it in for repairs and the insurance company would decide if they wanted to repair or replace it. They took my cpap in for a prescription adjustment and it "broke" while they had it. After I got it back and checked into things, it turns out they didn't know what they were doing, could not be bothered to call technical support for the simple answer to fix the problem they created. They again said that my insurance would not let me buy a new cpap and said they would send it in for repairs and I would get a loaner for free for a month, but that it would take 8-12 months for the repair and I had to pay for a rental after the first month out of my own pocket as insurance would not cover it. I thought that is crazy, called my insurance and found out I could get a new machine as mine was over 3 years old and if MedOne would have told me that when I asked I would have been up on a new one before they "broke" my old one. They push you getting a new mask every 3 months and wanted to do that automatically. I said no, I would come in for a new mask (I had to say that 3 times as they kept saying we can just send it to you). Well they sent me a mask anyway, in an open paper bag that went thru two other companies before they go to me, giving everyone in those companies access to my personal and health insurance information in violation of HIPPA and exposing me to medical identity theft. When this was brought up to them, the manager tried to tell us that it was not HIPPA violation, as HIPPA just meant if anyone got the information they had to notify us. When she was told we knew it meant she had to keep it secure also, she then admitted they had messed up and she needed to talk to the warehouse staff (apparently they do this to all their cpap clients). There are much better DMEs out there, choose another one or it will cost you big time. We saved about a thousand dollars with our new DME MedOne would have charged us to replace the cpap that "broke" under their care. read more

I have called my insurance company six times to resolve issues and finally they switched me to another provider. In desperation, I contacted the Better Business bureau. I switched to MedOne from a provider I was very happy with because I was told that Medicare would not cover my current provider. I have a secondary insurance and I was assured that they were also a preferred provider for the secondary insurance. I used the service for less than a year and terminated with them due to poor service. They would promise equipment would be provided and then when the dates arrived they would project them out again. They would not return calls in a timely manner. The follow-up was non existent, which would not have been noted except that my first service was so exemplary. Now almost a year after I have terminated with them I receive a bill for almost $300.00 due to a glitch in their system. While they take full responsibility for the problem they make it very clear that it is limited to informing me that it is my responsibility to pay. It turned out that they used an out of state billing company that my secondary insurance did not recognize as a preferred provider. I would say shame on me if I had not taken great care to make sure I could maximize my insurance benefit by using preferred providers. They did reduce the outstanding amount by 2/3 so I could benefit from the 90% in network payment from insurance. But when I left them I confirmed that I had no outstanding bill and they said my balance was 0. I did not receive any billing the whole time I was with them. My first bill came 10 months after they told me I had a 0 balance. read more

My mother has literally been dealing with their crap for a replacement wheelchair for literally 11 months and she still doesn't have it!!! They finally delivered her new chair last week and it was so big that it wouldn't even fit through the front door!!!!! In all honesty, I don't even know what more to say other than RUN!!!! If we don't get somewhere with them this week, I'm going to 3 on your side!!! Someone has to help us, this is stupid crazy!!! They are doing so many people wrong that it's not a wonder why they have gone bankrupt!!! My mother needed a new CPAP provider as her current provider has been nothing but problems. This company was recommended to her by Mayo so we decided to give them a try. I was hesitant after reading the reviews on here but everyone I interacted with was very professional, friendly, competent and terrific to deal with. They spent additional time answering my questions regarding insurance. They have returned all of my phone calls and have been prompt and responsive. Customer service is deplorable, the employees are not responsive to the disabled person's needs, they don't pay attention to detail so many times have ordered the wrong eqipment.They don't return phone calls, and it can take 6-12 weeks for medical equipment that is needed today! We've waited that long for a battery, or a wheel, so that my husband, a quadriplegic is bedbound until it comes, leading to risks of skin breakdown, urinary tract infections, pneumona, blot clots. My husband is now in bed for 12 days because we can't get an extendable leg rest for his wheelchair. After 1 wk, they sent out a generic one. The customer service has a record of my husband's wheelchair and can easily see that the generic one won't work on his chair. When we finally got ahold of them, they say it will be 1-2 wks and there is no way to expedite this. Then, when is comes it could be another week before it's delivered. We have been stuck with these guys for 2 yrs, as it's the only provider our insurance will work with and every single thing we're ordered has taken 6-12 wks and then longer to have it delivered and/or installed. The last thing we needed was a new seat and back and ended up installing it ourselves after waiting 3 mos for it. read more
