If you are not aware of your skin type and the effects certain products have on your skin, I would urge you to be extremely cautious of this place. I have been here a couple of times and they have managed to peel of skin once and now completely ruin my upper lip by leaving four burn marks on it. My friend who went there once has been through a similar situation. We had to learn a lesson the hard way but I hope anyone who considers going here has sufficient knowledge about their skin and the products suitable for it otherwise you are going to face some serious damage.

Treatment rooms are clean and private - and you get the sense that the therapists are well qualified and know what they are doing. It's reasonably priced and the salon is conveniently placed near Baker St station (although walking distance from Marble Arch and Bond St too). I will continue to come to this salon - do book in advance and make sure to ring the bell you arrive if you don't see anyone at the front desk - they lock the upstairs when they're working in the treatment rooms downstairs.

She entered and soon after Operation Hair Elimination started. Now I'm not saying I didn't feel anything; I was stone cold sober remember. But Balo had this incredible way of making me think about everything else but that hot way on my skin. During the session we talked about Camden Market, the history of Afghanistan and the different dialect of Nigeria (thank you Wikipedia for making me sound like an intellectual!) and before I knew it, it was over! She analysed my skin and gave me very useful advice. I visited another two times and was very happy with the service. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the last time I visited I received terrible service. The beautician ,whose name I didn't find out because she barely spoke to me throughout the whole 40 minutes, was quite rude. The only time she spoke to me was to guide me to the room, ask me to lie down and to take my payment. She asked no questions about my skin and made no attempts to me feel relaxed. As I said I do not know her name but she is an older, eastern european woman. I will go back to the salon but will just make sure I do not get treated by her. The salon was really close to Earl's court tube station especially since I was running a little late! The facial started out with a 15 min back massage. It was okay, then you flip over for the facial. The usual exfoliating, deep moisturizing etc. She checked the state of my skin to pick which type of products to use and straight away she knew my skin was oily (now anyone can see that - but hey it's quite a blessing to have very few wrinkles!). You get the usual sells pitch on products but it was nice that she asked what my biggest concerns were about my skin and recommended a few products.
