What I got was a plate where the Salami and Ham was definitely out of a Supermarket package, thick pre cut pieces that tasted super cheap. Not delicious at all. The Tortilla somehow was a potato dish with absolutely no taste (no spices). The eggs were super dry. The bread was some sort of white bread, halfway dried out and no taste as well. My friend had scrambled eggs with bacon and eggs Benedict which were both okay except the Sauce Hollandaise wasn't homemade either and tasted old. All in all really disappointing for a place that offers such a huge selection of breakfast. To cut up some fresh meat for your breakfasts shouldn't be of any problem and would taste SO MUCH better!

My schnitzel was of medium quality (meaning that it was ok, but I've had better elsewhere), but the roasted potatoes were excellent. The service is very nice and friendly, though sometimes a bit slow which might be excused by the high amount of customers in the summer. Allover a very good restaurant, but it only made a 4 instead of a 5-star impression to me.

It underwent a extensive renovation last year and only opened recently again for business. The setting is very traditional with a lot of antique decor, making a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Service here is impeccable. Front of house Tobias Ludowigs and his team make every effort to make the guest feel special and well taken care of. As you can imagine the wine list is extensive covering all parts of the world but concentrating on Germany and France. The list of different Riesling is out of the world, I have never seen such an incredible choice. Even smaller vineyards are listed and you can find some rare vintages which are hard to get. The choice of German pintos (Spätburgunder) is extensive as well, all the big guns are on the offering. If you like French wines, don´t go elsewhere. They offer some of the best Bordeaux in the world and still have some older vintages. Best of all is that their wines in general are good value for money and you will sure find a wine that suits your budget. If you need help with your selection ask the sommelier Tobias Ludowigs. He's like a living wine encyclopedia and can tell you anything about the wines on his list. Food wise they have 3 different menu, a tasting, a German and vegetarian one. All include an appetizer, soup, sherbet, main and desert. You can skip the soup if you want, you can interchange courses from the different menu, they are really flexible here. Simon Nauels and his kitchen team do an excellent job. The food is well presented, portions are not too small, everything is delicate and done to perfection. It is always a great experience coming here. For me the Tante Anna has michelin star potential. It is inexpensive in comparison to other restaurants of this quality.

I complained and was told its an "italian Chardonnay" whilst been nodded at furiously. Obviously the staff could smell the off-wine as they looked like they had a bad smell under their nose the whole time we were there. Never book the bowling alley out for a party as the tab comes out as triple the price in the end as they seemed to charge us for the air we breathed. Steer CLEAR.
