It was a complete waste of our time and shows a shocking lack of organization and professionalism. Patients deserve clarity and respect. I have visited Simon Med/Altamonte Springs a few times now. Today was by far the best customer care experience I have received to date. Upon entering, I was greeted by Chris who was absolutely phenomenal in checking me in, handling insurance paperwork, diligently ensuring that the documents were transferred to the appropriate parties, seeking and providing information instantly; and keeping me abreast of the appointment status. I am in awe of Chris who definitely exceeded my expectations of the front desk with a wealth of knowledge, authenticity, support and drive. In addition, Joe (technician) was equally performative. Joe ensured that an almost 98 year old senior was in the "best hands". He exhibited kindness, patience, asked pertinent questions prior and during the imaging process, reviewed the history of the patient; very well versed in his feedback and definitely executed his job with excellence and caring. Joe didn't leave any stone unturned! In my opinion, there aren't enough people like Chris and Joe! If customer care is important to you from the beginning to end of your office visit, I highly recommend seeking Chris and Joe as your "go to" people at the Altamonte Springs location.

What I really meant to say is that the staff at ADG is very professional and helpful. I called them to see if they accepted my insurance (blessed) and they didn't have an answer right away but called me later to tell me that they did. I was able to schedule for the same day also. Things were working wonderful with ADG. When I arrived, I checked in promptly and was taken to the radiation room in no time. It was like the radiation was waiting for me. I was happy to see Spanish/English signs, it makes me happy to see that we are a diverse country, plus I love Latino Food, because, "Hi, my name is Julio! And I will eat your food! Haha! I'm hilarious!". Anyway, there is parking also. Oh! One more thing: what's up with the bunker inside the radiation room where the tech hides as you are getting blasted with radiation. Second, the nurses would not stop the MRI when I was screaming that the contract infusion was not going in my vein. When they finally stopped it in the middle of the MRI and pulled me out, they didn't believe me when I complained of pain in my arm. Eventually, after viewing my swollen arm, they realized the needle was not in my vein and the contrast solution had gone straight under my skin. I was promised that I would not be charged for the procedure and yet I got a bill for $160. I immediately put it into dispute but they are still charging me after 4 months! This place used to be Sand Lake radiology and I never had a problem after 12 years of annual MRIs. This new company is terrible!

Just given your name, decide on payment or billing and complete any necessary paperwork. Each time, I've had a short wait beyond the appointment time but nothing to complain about. Once I'm called back, the tech verifies that they have the correct person, perform the imaging and have me out of there fairly quickly. The quality of care has been caring and professional. They have a nice, comfortable waiting area. The lighting is low and not uncomfortably bright and sterile; the mix of chairs include cushioned seats and are fairly comfortable. There is also a complementary beverage and snack station offering water, coffee, tea, graham crackers and snack bars.
