It included 35 edited photos, and I made it very clear beforehand that capturing my 2-year-old son with his new sister was extremely important to me. I sent multiple examples and was assured she understood what I wanted. The session was incredibly uncomfortable. It was over 100 degrees outside and the studio was unbearably hot. My toddler was visibly sweating in the photos, and my husband had to take him to the car with the AC running to cool down. I had also spent $400 on hair and makeup specifically for these family photos. We were never warned to expect these conditions. I was very disappointed with the gallery. Many of the sibling poses I specifically requested weren't captured, and I was initially told to choose 20 photos despite the agreed package including 35. After considerable back-and-forth, she refunded my $500, which I appreciate. I then offered to pay $15 per photo for the few images I wanted. She responded, "I'll be happy if you keep some." After I selected them, however, she changed her mind and refused to provide any photos. I ultimately asked for just two images, including a one-month milestone photo of my daughter. She is now two months old, and that moment cannot be recreated. While I received my photography fee back, I can't get back the hours my family--including a newborn and toddler--spent in an extremely uncomfortable studio, the money spent preparing, or most importantly, this fleeting stage of my children's lives. I walked away from my daughter's newborn session with no photographs at all. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this photographer.

Her work is artistic and her products are beautiful…read more She is very responsive via email which was extremely important for me during the planning stage of the wedding and the waiting period after the wedding. She was very patient and flexible throughout the entire process and on the wedding day itself. My, then, fiancee and I first met her at her house/office in order to peruse her work and we were very impressed. After discussing our photographer choices, we decided to go with Claire because she just had the best products hands down. We were supposed to meet her in Sherman Oaks (the approximate halfway point between my place and her place) to sign the contract, but she got caught up in another shoot with no cellphone service, so she wasn't able to contact us until about fifteen minutes after our scheduled meeting. She contacted me through text that night and apologized for cancelling the appointment on such short notice, and she scheduled a time on the next day to come all the way over to my place to make up for it. Claire has an unteachable knack for catching certain moments, which was apparent in how she photographed our first dance. Because we choreographed our own first dance (and Claire's first time seeing the dance was in real time), I was afraid she would not get certain parts of the routine. To my astonishment, she snapped a photo of every single pose/move we were hoping she would get with her top-notch equipment. She captured so many wonderful pictures throughout our wedding day, so it was extremely difficult to choose from the array of photos she provided us. To our surprise, she did not make us choose and she generously provided us all the lightly retouched photos (on a CD by mail) even though it exceeded the amount we had agreed upon. Although it took a while to receive our detailed, retouched photos and the final album due to personal reasons, she did make it up to us by mailing five free, gorgeous 8.5 x 11 printouts (all of which are on display at our place). Overall, her work is incredible and if we could do it all over again, Claire would be at the top of our list of vendors.

We set up Saturday and spent a couple hours moving all over the building finding good places to get the professional head shots I was looking for. Tito was prompt, super organized and great to work with. His lovely wife and assistant was particularly fastidious in ensuring I looked just right throughout the shoot - removing wrinkles in my shirt, ensuring the sleeve of my jacked rested just right, and suggesting subtle positioning for things like my fingers and hands. They made me feel super comfortable and the results were excellent photos. I have had lots of rave reviews on the images. They handled all the subtle retouching necessary to remove reflections from my glasses or surfaces in the photos, worked the tinting to ensure the images were warm and crisp, and did a great job of providing guidance around which images they felt really captured me. In particular, the black & white, tight headshot they did for me is stunning (you can see it on their website). I never felt rushed - they went above and beyond to provide me lots of images to choose from. One of those experiences where you look at the photos and think "Is that me, I look so good?" I kinda regret not being in more magnetic photos with more of my guests. at the end of the event he gives you CD/DVD(?) with all your photos that he took the day of. It's cool to go to my friends houses and see magnetik photos on their fridge. the quality of photo on the magnet was decent. couple of my guests complained that the photos were stretched sideways. I don't know what happened there. the digital pictures that I got were fine. The thing about photobooth is that not many "adults" use it... most of my guests would not have gone to photobooth if we had it. but Sibay walked around from tables to tables during reception and asked for pictures. when more people found out about it, they started to ask him for more pictures. it was great! People take photobooth pictures and throw it in a desk, in a draw, in a box, I know! I do the same thing. But with magnets, they go right on the fridge. Don't get me wrong, photobooths are always fun, dress up in props and take a few pictures, print it out and have a good laugh. We had both at our wedding but Magnetik Photo is different and original.
