I found a couple of nice pieces that reminded me of Audrey Hepburn's style in Breakfast at Tiffany's. I also bought my sister a really beautiful lace top that was classy and elegant for her birthday. However, at other times I've stopped in and found nothing at all that I would buy. They do have some cute purses and jewelry too from time-to-time. If you are looking for something a little different, drop in and see what they have in stock. You may strike out on one visit, but its worth giving them another shot because the next time you stop, they may have something really great. My one hundredth review, brought to you by a two-time Lady Rockstar…read more First of all, ignore the shitty one-star review from the user who clearly doesn't get PML's mission, and hear out the point of view from someone who has done more than just one class at this organization and absolutely enjoyed her experiences here. I have done two Lady Rockstars classes, a women's weekend retreat and one of their many Girl Jams, all in the span of four and a half months! In doing so, I learned so much more than the music. These music classes don't just focus on the music, although learning the music is pivotal and the instructors here do a kickass job of teaching that (also they have Plugged In online classes that are totally affordable, if that's something you'd like to take advantage of). But another part of it is becoming empowered and learning to empower your other classmates. Also you build relationships with your classmates within the four weeks of your Lady Rockstars class, and you walk away having made friendships with some cool chicas. As a vocalist and performer, I've had experiences that were stressful, uncomfortable and super tense, even turbulent and volatile at times, and could not even enjoy the rehearsal process, as such awful atmospheres made it feel like work. Believe me when I say that PML offers a unique experience (and for some a therapeutic one), vastly different from anything else you've done. (No cattiness or bitchiness allowed here, either!) I found SCP&D online while searching for a reliable print shop for clients; I frequently have clients that need to do mailers, flyers, business cards, and was searching for a print shop to fill this niche. As I primarily work online, I've never heard that there were different paper weights, or coatings, so I was going in pretty much blind.I called ahead of time to get a rough quote on 1,000 postcards, and whomever I spoke to helped me through the process, with much huffing and puffing. Then I went in person a week later. I'm unsure if the lady I spoke to was the receptionist, but their office was the closest to the door. I attempted to explain what I needed, and was told multiple times that they're for "commercial printing." After I explained my needs. For my business. With a first printing of 1,000. It's not like I was trying to do a fancy garage sale. I gloss over what, precisely, IS commercial, and we move onto what I'm trying to get done. At this point she is agitated, and it appeared that she thought my business beneath her, as she began rattling off the various options of printing, whether I wanted UV coating (which I immediately thought "like...sunscreen?"), and my confusion only made her mood worse. Apparently there is no "standard" either. Again, I was going in blind, to be sure, and was relying on professionals for guidance. Somehow we got through that mess, and to the pricing. Which they didn't have. Because they are a "commercial" printer. I guess other businesses don't need prices, they just throw money for contracts. When asked for a pricing spreadsheet (because I need printing done frequently for different things), she said "I guess I can make one and email that to you this afternoon." This was about three to four weeks ago. Still haven't gotten that email. Stay far away from this shop. Unless you're their definition of "commercial", I guess.
