The store is clean, tons of employees to help if you need it. Produce is not great but it is in Michigan....sooooooo.... Prices are hard to beat, and they have a surprising amount of gluten free options given that it is in Michigan. Management is a bit prickly there...but I think that must trickle down from corporate. People watching at this store should be a televised Olympic event. My goodness the things I see when I am there. I try to avoid it on the weekends due to the crowds. Shopping for groceries after 9 p.m. is the best kept secret in town. Place is a ghost town. Cashiers there might be prodded a bit to move faster then a cadaver....I try to use self check out lines when they are open. Cashiers often have the personality of a thimble of spittle....but that might just be from hating their job which does look like it would suck. Never tried the deli like Denise claims she did...but it is possible the deli is not where you would want to go for take out food. It is Wal-Mart people....trust me when I say the Jonesville store is WAYYYYYYYYYYY better then the Wal-Mart down the road in Coldwater. YIKES!!! That store...where do I begin?

Went to Battle Creek and did my shopping called at 5:30 and was told 40 more minutes before my vehicle would be done - get back here at 7:15 - my vehicle STILL has not even been pulled in to be started yet. To say never again would be the understatement of the year!!!! *update* 9pm and we're still sitting here waiting on our vehicle! I will NEVER step foot in this place again! *icing on the cake: they didn't reset my oil life and rubbed their greasy oily hands all over my key, shifter, steering wheel and drivers side door panel and that is how I got my vehicle back! Outstanding job Walmart!!! After speaking with management, I pretty much left with the impression that this is just how it is at Walmart - and no one really cares anyway, so I pretty much wasted my breath. I was trying to resolve a problem at the service desk and Jodi walked away and left me standing there with no resolution. Terry likes to sit in his chair three feet from a customer at the self scan and stare at them while they scan over $131 of groceries. If there was another option to buy groceries that are not grossly overpriced in this podunk town, I would never shop at this Walmart again.

I called back several more times but by then I was so upset I decided to forget about going there. This is atrocious customer service. For the last 4 1/2 years, my kids, grandmother sends the money for Christmas and their birthdays from California. I went two days before Christmas to go pick up money that she sent for them. The lady asked me why she is sending the money. I told her that their father has schizophrenia and she kind of steps in and is there for my kids for him. After I told her that she accused me of laundering money and told me to leave immediately. I was completely shocked. And asked if I could talk to a manager because I'm not sure what's going on. The manager was talking to the CSR and then came over to me and didn't even listen to me and yelled at me and told me to get out. I left and cried in my car for a good hour and a half and will never go back there again. When we went to return some unused unopened pet supplies without a receipt we were only asking for store credit so we could get milk eggs bread. They told me that they no longer do that when their return policy was on the counter stating that they do so a manager came up named Rose. She was instantly rude, dismissive and condescending saying that returns are at the manager's discretion when it clearly said it's at the system's discretion whether the system accepts the return or not. Not once did we raise our voice we were simply asking her questions about the return policy and why she was telling us something different than what the policy stated was. She asked us to leave and never returned to the store on what grounds did she kick us out of the store she had no right. We went back to get her name and she had the nerve to be standing in a circle with a group of employees laughing about us. Corporate has been called in formal complaint has been filed. I feel discriminated against, harassed and I'm completely appalled. I'm literally shaking I'm so upset I've been shopping there for 15 years my pharmacy is there and now I can't return because I was simply asking questions. Do not shop at Walmart in plainwell discriminatory management, terrible customer service and unfair treatment.

Nasty. I went to service counter to make a return. Pam and Amy were in the middle of conversation which was Pam chastising Amy for staffing decisions. This went on as I stood there. Amy didn't know what to do. Pam was raising her voice as she was questioning Amy on other decisions made. I asked for the help of a particular manager I had already spoken to. Pam refused, calling another manager. Pam and Amy continued to say that Kroger didn't carry the brand I was trying to return, although they did. The second manager handed me a $20 bill. I refused to take and settled at $5. Earlier Pam had given me a prepaid sticker for an alternative. I offered it back to her and she yanked it off my hand. In case you're wondering, I was returning sanitizing wipes that were moldy when opened. And for proof I took a picture of another pack of wipes I purchased in that Kroger, with a reduced price sticker that is Kroger's. I'd like a personal apology from Pam and Amy for calling me a liar and another from the second manager trying to bribe me, insinuating I was a liar.
