It's a shame that this site hids reviews based on business owners simply crying to them to remove it. This site lies that it's supposedly "transparent" and business owners cannot pay to have reviews removed. But these claims are all a pile of B.S. When this site filters out reviews it HURTS the public, as all they can see are phony 5-star reviews posted by a malicious business owner & have no idea the troubles they're headed for until it's far too late. In my opinion, this site should be held liable--And I hope an attorney comes along some day ad files that class-action we've all been needing. The only factual reviews were and are by an individual by the name of Jeff M.(Now located in the Filtered Reviews) and my own (Which was unfairly removed last year and again this August 2022). Here's what happened to me: This guy (Can't call him a man) never did my taxes. He did the tax returns of a relative & he ABSOLUTELY SCREWED UP THAT TAX RETURN. My relative has suffered numerous penalties, interest fees, other monetary, emotional, and related problems for the last 2 years with the IRS, Franchise tax board & other agencies, as well. But now, we have ensured that Meir Raanan will get NOTHING. He can spin his wheels & spend all the money he wants, to chase a judgement, which will be wasted, lol! But he'll get nada. Besides, if his hustles were going well for him, he wouldn't have so much time to chase a judgement, would he? Meir Raanan is NOT a licensed accountant. He is a slimy jack of all trades. He has several different addresses, but does business & basically resides in his filthy, rickety office in an alleyway in Van Nuys, CA. He does have residences in Agoura Hills, CA. and West Los Angeles, CA. This is the office that he deals drugs at, sells lead-filled lighting fixtures (Italuce), acts as a contractor (By which he places liens on peoples' homes and renders them homeless) and majorly screws up peoples' tax returns. He even refuses to purchase so much as office supplies & is known for calculating tax returns on his greasy fast food paper bags while asking to borrow a pen from you. NOBODY goes to this guy for their tax returns. The "5-star" reviews he's posted here are purely the creative work of people who owe him money for drugs & are therefore FAKE & not remotely based on facts. You'll notice that many more "5-star" reviews were posted by himself--Simply notice the same broken English & inflection in those reviews. BEWARE: Do NOT make the mistake my poor relative & many others made. After FOUR years, he is still trying to sue him in court--This is how he operates: He has money but is so greedy for a buck, that he constantly sues people, sells drugs, and runs other questionable hustles while cheating people, stealing, committing fraud, and wreaking havok in their lives. I am a business owner, and I never had an accountant or even a CPA in front of me that knew more about what he was doing than Meir. Meir makes everything simple, and never makes me feel stressed about anything, in fact he does the exact opposite. He is a solution finder, and he is good at his job. Not only is he incredible at his profession, he's also extremely personable, which makes tax time more enjoyable. I had an accountant that did my tax return but I thought he was too expensive so I looked for a new accountant. I found Meir Tax through an Israeli newspaper. I was planning to buy existing restaurant, called him to get evaluation of the restaurant. Meir was very professional and shoed a lot of knowledge on the food industry. I was amazed from his knowledge.He was always very helpful. One year I got a letter from the IRS that I owe them money. I called Meir.
