My new wife and I were lucky to find Adrian, before we got married, to work on communication and conflict resolution. Adrian is an incredible coach: thoughtful, kind, observant, and knowledgeable. Unlike previous marriage counseling experiences, Adrian focuses on a communication process (Imago). Using Imago, he teaches and guides us to resolve conflict, helping us build trust and deep connection. Adrian has guided my wife and me through the Imago process to the point where we can have conversations we'd previously melt down around. More and more, and with Adrian's guidance, we've been able to create safe spaces for each other to help each of us grow, and in the process, we grow so much closer. It's amazing. I've always disliked trying to find a new counselor/therapist. It can be hard to find someone who is great at what they do -and- is a good fit for me as an individual or as part of a couple. Adrian is a gem, and I'm incredibly grateful we chose him out of the list of local therapists. I highly recommend Adrian for couples counseling.

Life is hard! - A lot of healing comes just from being understood. We are all important, even if we don’t always feel that way. So being seen, accepted for who we are, can create the space for us to get clarity, understand, accept, and make choices that lead us to a better path. - For many of us this isn’t quite enough. We need a better, more in depth way of healing that gets to deeper roots - that changes the impact on us of our past, sometimes traumatic experiences. - Enter EMDR therapy. It’s an approach to seeing how we get stuck with negative views about ourselves or the world (I’m not safe. I’m not good enough, and so on). And it’s a way of helping our own brain process past experiences in such a way that they no longer affect us. We use it for trauma and PTSD, but I find it invaluable for a variety of problems, ranging from anxiety to low self-esteem. - Couples Therapy: As a therapist, I help you really listen to each other and feel heard by each other, while also accessing the loving feelings and appreciation that brought you together in the first place. Once we get that going for you in our meetings, I’ll invite you to try it at home, increasingly, ‘till we all know you’ve got this. My goal, like any good therapist, is to get myself out of a job as quickly, but as solidly as possible, so when we’re done it’ll be a happy, successful good-bye.

Sara is the most patient and kind person, from day one it was so effortless to talk to her. She encourages our sessions to be whatever I need during that time, and it never feels like she's judgmental. She has helped me with my relationship with food and I am so thankful! Definitely someone that I value seeing and thinks anyone would as well.

As soon as I read about Sara I reached out and had a telephone consultation to identify if the needs we had would match with Sara's expertise - and they did! My child benefited from regular video calls with Sara where their relationship with food was discussed and a plan set up to begin the journey towards recovery. Sara always demonstrated patience & empathy towards my child as well as actionable, useful advice. My child felt comfortable sharing with Sara and knew that she had their best interests at heart. We have since entered recovery and my child is in a much healthier space with 'themself' and with their relationship with food and I know this is very much down to the part Sara played in walking this journey with us and using her expertise to help guide and gently challenge my child's relationship with food. I highly recommend Sara as a Nutritional Therapist.
