An old Victorian house has been remodelled and converted into a daycare centre comprising of 5 different child care groups, Kinder, Pre-Kinder, Toddler 1, Toddler 2 and the Nursery. I have had two children in this centre, my oldest boy started there as a Pre-Kinder child and continued on until he graduated Kinder and went off to Prep, my youngest is currently in the Nursery area and although we will be shortly taking him out of the centre due to unseen circumstances, he will be back for the Kinder program when he is old enough. I can honestly say we were blessed to be able to find such a wonderful childcare centre for both of our boys. They have been more than welcoming and comforting when it has been time to leave the children in their care. I'm looking forward to my little one returning to the Kinder program.

The service is always part of why I go here. Most of the guys working at Drum Power have been doing so since I was 16 and having my mum drop me off at weekend rehearsals. Yes the centre isnt the new kid on the block, but i love that. Its established, homely, and the people running the centre know what they are doing. There is so many centres in the area, i think i visited 7, but i was drawn to this one because i just knew from stepping into the door that these people have a heart in what they do, and continue to do. It is extremely rare for educators to stay at one centre or even in the industry. For a centre to have educators at the centre ranging from 7-18 years. These are people that love what they do, and the environment is where they want to be.

Since then, every band I have been in has rehearsed here at some stage, and although the rooms and staff haven't changed a bit, the audio gear is always good, and the prices better than any other rehearsal room around. Although the extra services, like fridges and kettles etc remain pretty low-fi, when you rehearse here, it's a good way to practice for a gig, as each room has drum risers, and sticky carpet, like most venues themselves.
