We grabbed a cheesy garlic bread (which was delicious) and the Nachos (VERY saucy). They were not too bad. Apparantly on Wed its Parma & Pot night for $13... so cheap.... They also have a yearly membership and its $12 to sign up, giving access to prize give aways, 10% off drinks and a courtesy bus! The only part I didn't really like was the 'gaming' section. It was average size and had so many people in it - but thats more to do with my dislike of gambling and on how it affects peoples lives. Ill give it three stars because its cheap, nearby and has the footy... I sure will be missing watching games at the Elgin or Palace though...

Bayswater Indoor Soccer Centre has been in operation for over thirty years now and plays host to…read moreover 200 teams weekly. I go here regularly to watch friends play in amateur soccer teams. The place is looking pretty dated now and it would be impossible to count all the repaired sections of the nets that surround each soccer 'field'. There are four soccer courts, two volleyball courts and two basketball courts in total. Teams play 5-a-side soccer games that are pretty short but are long enough to work up a decent sweat. On that topic, the hall can get pretty smelly with body odour at times - particularly noticeable in summer. The centre plays host to kids aged three to adults. There is a great atmosphere in there all the time. As well as the courts and soccer they have a pro sports shop directly to the right when you first walk in. The store is catered towards soccer only and stocks things like clothing, soccer balls, goals, bibs and agility poles.

I took so many photos in front of the fountain (and I wasn't the only one). On the first day we came to this park we bought a coffee at nearby Good Measure (be sure to try their Mont Blanc) and walked around the gardens. The next time, we came with a blanket and just soaked up the sun and relaxed. It's an easy tram ride over here from the CBD, I would highly recommend anyone visiting Melbourne to put this on your list!

I photographed a very strange possum in a. tree. We saw flowers, Berries in trees and fountains. The gardens are an example of Victorian landscape design with sweeping lawns and varied European & Australian tree plantings consisting of deciduous English oaks, White Poplar, plane trees, elms, conifers, cedars, turkey oaks, Araucarias & evergreen trees. Strong patronage from the Prahran Football Club and all of their junior teams is testament to how important this ground is to all surrounding suburbs and their residents. Our daughters and son grew up from early years kicking around the old pig skin, and to see them today going through their skills sessions here certainly brings back a lot of memories from the good old days. Many a champion will come through here, and many a friendship has been created here at Toorak Park, where all families are welcome, to share in the BBQ, bar and loads of food on offer! I've been here to play hockey and it is home to a number of Melbourne based hockey clubs. There are two water based hockey pitches that are of the highest quality. In fact they are of international standard. They are hands down the best hockey pitches I've played on in Australia and for that reason it is hard to give them anything other than 5 stars. It is also run as a non-profit facility by the State Sport Centres Trust which can only be a good thing.

What I have tried on numerous occasions are their squash courts. There are 10 international standard squash courts including a four walled glass show court. The courts are the best that we play on in our league (on a par with Moorabbin). They are quicker than most around the circuit but I'm a fan. If I lived next door to MSAC, I would play a hell of a lot more sports here. A great venue for all sports.
