After my interaction with Dr. Menezes yesterday, I would never give her my business. I initially found her practice online because I ran out of AlphaRet. However, when I drove to the clinic, I recognized the location from an encounter I had yesterday and decided to keep driving. I had parked in the lot to pick up an order at the restaurant across the street. Dr. Menezes came out and asked whether I was visiting her business. When I explained that I was going across the street, she responded sharply, "Then park across the street!" At the time, the lot was completely empty, with at least six open spaces, and there were no visible signs indicating that parking was restricted to her customers. I completely understand that business owners have the right to reserve parking for their clients, but the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily rude and hostile. A simple explanation that the lot was for customers only would have been sufficient. Instead, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. If this is how she treats random people on the street, it does not inspire confidence in the level of care or professionalism patients can expect. I loved working so closely with Melinda on a skin care plan tailored to my specific needs. She and her staff are genuine, honest, and super sweet! You feel like part of the family here. I received IPL and resurfex in October of this year. I am super happy with the results. My acne scars have minimized significantly and I feel sure if I was to have this procedure 1-2 more times my scars would be completely gone. Huge deal for someone whose suffered from acne and acne scarring since 12 (now 36)! For best results you MUST follow post care protocol. No sun for at least a month. My skin was super dehydrated after so make sure you are loading up on the right skin care hydration products. I would recommend and plan to have the same procedure again in 2023. I initially went to Dr. Menezes because I was breaking out very badly. i was in my late 50s and had struggled with break outs all my life. i IMMEDIATELY had results after my first visit and have never had another break out , (over 2 years now), since following their facial regimes! I went to this spa trying to get a great service but didn't happen. I paid $375 and after 2 week my face looks same just a little change and I called to let them know what's going on and I had to go back where they wanted to charge me more $$$$$$$$ for the re touch when they didn't told me that, so BE Careful bc they are so nice at the beginning and when that charge you then they give you a letter where they let you know that you have to pay more and they dilute the product a lot!!!!!!! Melinda is hands down the best in all of Kauai. She is edgy, knowledgeable and all around REALLY good at what she does. Her threading has taken years off my face and it's incredibly natural. Dr. Menezes and her staff are absolutely wonderful! She is well-trained in aesthetic medicine and it shows. Her work really speaks for itself and if you're looking for a natural, untouched look *cough*no duck lips*cough* that makes you look and feel refreshed and takes years off your appearance, go see her. Her skin care products are also incredible, including the mineral sunscreen! I've been using the wash, exfoliator, complexion pads, night cream, and eye creams for a few weeks now and I'm impressed. Went here to get info on some services and mentioned my skin issues from stress and bad skincare I had been using. She analyzed my skin and I learned a lot. She recommended ZO Skincare they sell there and within a week my skin has transformed!!! I am beyond pleased and feel so much better about my skin.
