In years past I have had memberships at all of the other tanning salons in New Braunfels and some in the Schertz/San Antonio area and none of them come close to what Kool Tan has to offer. Let me tell you the difference. 1. Everything here is super clean and sanitized. 2. I have NEVER had to wait for a booth to open up. I dont have a lot of time on my hands because I work A LOT and have a long commute home so I love that I can get in and out in 15 minutes. 3. There is no pressure to sign a contract (This was most important to me because I HATE being pressured into signing membership agreements) 4. The people here are very friendly and you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk thru the door. The owners are amazing, they know everyone by name, their place is super clean and there is never a hassle to sign a contract like other places I've been. They also have more than just tanning there too. They have this incredible hydrotherapy water jet massage that I love using after a stressful day at work. I had never had a massage with water and stayed dry; it was really an experience and felt great! I've also tried the infrared dry sauna that I heard about from Dr. Oz, it's true you do sweat a lot! You have to try it for yourself. The spray tan was very different than any other place I've been too. It didn't stink, or have a spray tan smell. I also didn't have that spray tan look, I looked very natural which I was very pleased with. After doing the spray tan thing for awhile I decided to go back to the tanning beds. In an 8 minute stand up I have what is equivalent to lying down in a 20 min bed. And I didn't have to think about who was lying there before me or how clean the beds are. Did I mention it only took 8 minutes of my time to get a hot tan! I love, love, love this place !!
