I was in constant contact over messenger on asking for the fabric that I paid for. I constantly got excuses, another person did the cutting, she was checking on it, she would mail it to me. Twice! I never received them, never got a notice of verification of shipping to track it, zip nothing. I then asked for a refund for the fabric. she stated she gave me a refund. I have yet to see it on my bank statement, or a check having been mailed to me. I will never buy from this place again, and will tell my quilting friends of my experience With them! No sign, just the store name painted on the window...very surprised to see a very well stocked quilt, fabric, arts and crafts store all tastefully laid out and welcoming! Great prints and well known designers, tons of super cute and unique panels, kits, patterns and tote kits...Wild Hare has it all. Very nice lady was friendly but not intrusive, and very efficient. Becky's Sewing Center had all the fabrics I was looking for at a really great price, better than any other prices I have found online (I have been looking for a couple weeks). Palmer and Russell were extremely helpful and made sure my order was perfect. I was shocked at how quickly I received the fabric since they had to ship it from Idaho to Texas. The customer service with this shop is wonderful. I just wish they had a sister shop here close to me. I wanted to learn to quilt with the long arm machine. A friend suggested this shop. I stopped by, booked a class, learned a lot, and will be returning many times. I was afraid to run the big machine, but at Emerald Garden, they made me feel at easy. Many locals probably remember it as the barn surrounded by a fence of wagon wheels, a defining characteristic that adds to its artistic charm. Open Thursdays to Sundays from 10am to 6pm, you can take a free tour through the barn to watch various artists at work and tour the exhibition. You can also purchase artwork from local artists at the gift shop. Dahmen Barn also offer classes and workshops for both adults and children, book readings and signings, and occasional performances by local musicians. This is such a quaint local attraction. Many of the events (like the tour and some of the workshops) are free, and there's such a fun, artsy feel to the place.
