I wanted to learn to quilt with the long arm machine. A friend suggested this shop. I stopped by, booked a class, learned a lot, and will be returning many times. I was afraid to run the big machine, but at Emerald Garden, they made me feel at easy. I had a blast running this huge machine. she also has a wonderful selection of fabrics and will give you advise on your projects you are doing or may want to do in the future.

This quilt shop was a gem, and would hold its own in any town. The extensive fabric selection was high quality, notions were also tops, and craft kits were thorough and plentiful. Displays were top notch, clever: vintage cribs held clearance fabric, old jello molds held notions, and antique dressers and props provided the perfect backdrop for the merchandise. This little town has very little to…read morespeak of, and after eating lunch at a hot dog stand ( really all we saw for lunch!), we decided to cruise the block long "Main Street" and leave town...when I saw the word "quilting" out of the corner of my eye! No sign, just the store name painted on the window...very surprised to see a very well stocked quilt, fabric, arts and crafts store all tastefully laid out and welcoming! Great prints and well known designers, tons of super cute and unique panels, kits, patterns and tote kits...Wild Hare has it all. Very nice lady was friendly but not intrusive, and very efficient. Not sure why you'd ever be in the town of Orofino, ID, but if you find yourself there, check out this cute store before you leave!
