Steven Colon is the kind of attorney you want when something actually matters…read more My experience with Steven was exceptional. He was extremely responsive and remarkably prompt throughout the entire process. When I had a question or concern, I never felt like I was waiting around wondering whether I would hear back. That level of communication made an already stressful real estate situation much easier to manage. What impressed me most was his foresight. Steven included a clause in my contract that ultimately allowed me to recover my deposit when the transaction fell apart. Without his legal expertise and the protection he built into that contract, I would have lost my deposit. To me, that is what going above and beyond really looks like: protecting your client before the problem even happens. He was also patient, respectful, and professional with me, even during moments when I became overwhelmed. He never made me feel dismissed or embarrassed. He stayed calm, explained things clearly, and kept the focus on protecting my interests. I never felt like just another file. I felt represented by someone who was paying attention. He was fair and went above and beyond. And I also want to recognize Kiara Fornaris, the paralegal, who was wonderful throughout the process. She was responsive, organized, professional, and consistently helpful with the many details that come with a real estate transaction. Her communication was clear and prompt, and she helped make sure things kept moving when I had questions or needed information. A great attorney is even better when there is a strong team behind him, and Kiara was absolutely part of what made my experience with the firm so positive. I would recommend Steven Colon without hesitation. He is responsive, thoughtful, thorough, and genuinely focused on making sure his clients are protected. Five stars, is not enough; absolutely deserved. Cher

Horrible attorney, incompetent, has ISSUES he's too wishy washy and contradicts himself by going…read moreback on his words/promises. I originally hired this attorney knowing I had a hearing coming up relatively soon within 60 days after I had signed my retainer with him, he advised me that I was NEVER a client and that he had other clients, "blowing me off at this point" he had to work with, after he had accepted my consultation with him to work and that he'd gladly take on my case. So about 24 days prior to my scheduled hearing then decides it's not enough time for him to work on my case, "when in the 1 1/2 hour consultation I had with him, he stated he would request the courts to give him more time." He's Silly, I see why he received a 1 star from a client he represented during a special needs case back in 2022 from the site AVVO! Now I'm questing he is not an expert NOT even when it comes to bankruptcy law! He's a fake and phony individual, nothing but a shiesty shark! He also never mentioned that there was a deadline he needed to submit things to court, your WRONG for what you did. You should have followed up me with me to see if you needed anything further which you did not, you jumped to conclusions and assumptions! A business entity should NEVER argue with a customer/client it's NOT a good look! He also delayed in sending me the retainer by 2 weeks insane. But since he's the attorney only he can do things delayed or not in a timely manner. Not the client, this man is on a power trip and prays upon his clients especially single individuals! If you don't do things when he wants he will let you go as a client when he is the one who committed wrong! Your sin will find you, your past reflects your future!
