I'm not even sure where to begin. I contacted Melissa on short notice as I was not confident the photographer I initially engaged was going to show. She was very responsive from the onset. Having our date available, we quickly contracted with Melissa to take our family of 14, photographs. Once I told her my vision, she suggested the perfect spot. As soon as we arrived, I was amazed. She captured my vision perfectly. She went through all the "must have" poses with us, which is important so as not to miss anything we wanted. She was especially in tune with our special needs grandson and learned how to capture his attention perfectly. She did not make us feel rushed. Capturing the perfect memories for her client's, is her timeline. I'm glad we put our trust in her. On a personal note, Melissa really does enjoy what she does and her photographs show it. We had a shoot with Melissa on the beach with 16 of us- from 9 months old to 66 years old- WOW, did we have fun! Melissa captured such wonderful moments for us, ones that we will treasure forever. She made it so easy, and effortless as we were concerned due to the 8 kids and the husbands (always the men who don't like pictures..), but Melissa had them smiling and enjoying it- it wasn't like stand here, put your hand there, turn this way- nope, it was stress free, we rolled with the moment and EVERYONE had a blast! I never write reviews, but Melissa was great and definitely earned one. We recently worked with Melissa for a maternity photoshoot at Disney's Port Orleans Resort. She worked with our overscheduled day to find a time that worked for us. She also worked well with everyone's personality. My husband is a complete ham, I tend avoid attention if possible, and our 3-year-old had missed his nap. Melissa made the whole experience comfortable and simple. Our family had such a great experience with Melissa for my maternity shoot. She was incredibly patient and kind, and was able to squeeze us in last minute after just getting back from a trip. She always responded in a timely manner and made us feel so comfortable. The entire time it felt like a family friend was taking photos of us. I found Melissa through a google search for "family photographers near me" & I am so happy we chose her! I wanted to get some pictures taken of my grandma, my mom & I for my mom's 60th birthday. The weather was not working in our favor on our scheduled dates, but Melissa did absolutely everything she could to make it work. We were going to take the pictures in downtown Windermere. However, because of the weather Melissa ended up recommending Gaylord Palms. It all worked out perfectly. The location was beautiful. She was amazing!
