Thankfully, she was available and offered a wonderful "Watch Me Grow" package that included sessions at newborn (added fee), 6 months, and 12 months. I really wanted newborn photos in our home so we could include our two dogs and remember this special chapter--bringing our baby home to our San Francisco house. Like any new mom, I was overwhelmed. DO NOT USE FERN. Fern cheated my family out of several photos. She's very unprofessional and will…read morenot return any emails once she has your money. We hired her to do a 4 family photo shoot and when she sent the gallery she had 6-8 shots each of the other 3 families but only provided 2 shots of my family. She would not return any of my emails asking where the other shots of my family were. During the shoot she just stood there pressing the shutter while we did all the work of gathering the family and kids and positioning/posing ourselves. Because we couldn't see what she saw through the camera we didn't know there was awkward spacing in the group shot or that our parents weren't in the center of the shot and she didn't bother letting us know. We were really unhappy with the washed out results. She's on the expensive side and even more so when she cheats you out of several photos.
