As a licensed Ca. agent I provided Kathy Betancourt with two properties to list for sale. Our written agreement provided a 25% agent referral fee to me. Kathy failed to disclose she had a financial interest in the title co. that handled the escrows. I only learned of this after there were multiple problems with the escrow co. giving me inaccurate information along with repeated delays with both escrows, resulting in the buyer of one property cancelling escrow. Despite the fact I found another buyer for that 2nd property, Kathy was still paid her listing agent fee on it. KATHY BETANCOURT NEVER PAID ME MY 25% REFERRING AGENT FEE. She ignored my emails and phone calls. I contacted her real estate office and broker/owner Philip Farhat, and got nothing but the runaround and no calls back. If this agent and her office would cheat me out of a minimal agent referral fee, I shutter to think how they would treat sellers or buyers on larger scale transactions, especially ones from out of town, such as myself! I get it, we live in Florida where most houses our well water. that's not the issue. I put a maintenance request in over a week ago. They finally gave me an appointment with a gentleman named Felix and told me that I had to be available between 12:30 PM through 5:00 PM and then that if I'm not there, I will get charged $100 no-show fee. Well, 5 o'clock rolls around as my whole day and took off of work to be here for to have my house fixed and at 5 o'clock at the last minute they sent me a text, saying Felix will be there in around 10 minutes. 30 minutes later I says he's still 10 minutes away. 45 minutes in at 5:45 I check in his name is no longer on the application to have it fixed and they closed it saying that he showed up and I can promise you for a fact nobody showed up to my house. Nobody went through the side gate nobody knocked on my door. I was even outside from 4 to 6 PM the whole time nobody showed up so not only did I lose money from taking a day off of work to be here for this so I did not get charged at $100 no-show fee but they never showed up. two weeks into moving into this new house and we're already having issues. I feel that I should be reimbursed for the hundred dollars because they never showed up. How should I get charged $100 no-show fee if they don't ever actually show up I feel like I've been scammed. I would never recommend this company to anybody if reading the reviews run far far away from Main Street renewal whether it's Northport, Fort Myers, Venice, or Tampa do not work with these company.

As much as we pay for rent, we should be able to have someone right away for this issue. I am a senior with lung issues with 2 kids in the house. Poor poor service and communication. I am being told I can't speak to anyone and also being denied corporate information so that I can contact either the maintenance supervisor or the property manager. As large as your organization is. this is extremely poor service wihtout any regard to your residents urgent need of assistance. Once again denying me to be able to call an AC technician or purchase any window units. 5 phone calls. Each stating they cannot get in touch with maintenece or that we have to wait for them to review with no time frame of a call back. See less
