My Mom was quite particular in wanting a lemon cake, not too heavy but just perfectly sweet. It was as ordered. In addition to the cake were these wonderful tarts that allowed for the guests to choose. =The cake when on the plate looked like you would never be able to get through a piece because it was so rich but that was not the case.
