I was delighted how you select the outdoor location for the pictures vs. staying in a studio or on the photographer's property. Melissa will travel to locations throughout the state; it is dependent upon where the child wants his/her picture taken. This was a significant advantage in selecting Melissa. My daughter graduated in 2016, and Melissa made several changes from 2016, which made the process even better in 2018. One change I enjoyed is when I picked up my son's pictures. Melissa had the 11x14 picture displayed on a picture stand, and the remaining pictures were displayed in an orderly fashion on the table. The pictures were in a box separated by tissue. The wallets had to be punched out, but it was a very easy process. The studio pictures looked fantastic and professional, which led to my numerous endorsements to family and friends. If I had another child, I would definitely return to Melissa for senior pictures!! Melissa submitted yearbook pictures to the high school in a timely manner. Melissa Lile Photography was highly recommended by several friends as the "go to" photographer in Midland for senior pictures and we couldn't be happier with our decision to use her! We started with a planning session to discuss how the photo shoot day would proceed - did we want "studio time" as well as "on location time", outfit changes, poses and props (musical instruments, sports equipment, etc...) which was very beneficial and helped us to be prepared and organized for the day of the shoot. Melissa was very professional, and easy to work with, and she was able to make it a pleasant experience for my son who was not looking forward to getting his picture taken. She has a very keen eye and her composition was excellent. She also made the photo selection process a breeze (something I was dreading!). She has a large selection of print sizes, styles and photo gifts that made it easy to purchase items for family members. All photos were packaged and delivered with care.
