If you stand in the middle of the green on many nights, you will witness a wonderful sunset right beyond the mountains. I've also seen many of the wild horses here just eating the grass and also some beautiful cloud scenery. They have public barbecues and open picnic tables for family picnics and get togethers. This is a great spot to play a bocce ball if you have your own bocce ball set. I highly recommend this park if you're in the area.

Damonte Ranch and South Meadows areas are riddled with great community parks, and with all the…read morefamilies nearby, it makes a lot of sense. In the early days of COVID this park was incredibly popular, with a parking lot full of cars and kids all over the play structure and running in the baseball field. As the time wore on, I guess going to a playground grew tiresome for many families and the crowds dwindled, which is when we decided to check it out. The park consists of a baseball field with chain link fence that separates the batting area from the road and the rest of the play areas. There's a nice share structure with picnic tables, a big playground with a few nice slides, swings and climbing areas, as well as a little self workout area on the opposite side. The park connects to a walking path that winds along a creek behind the houses, and offers some good bird watching! It even has bathrooms with automatic flush toilets! Best part is the play structure looks very safe and has a lot in place to keep the kids safe. I also love the fact the ground around the play structure is that soft impact rubber flooring should anything go wrong. I'm giving this park four stars because most of it is in great condition but you can see wear and tear on the structure itself, the picnic tables are pretty dirty and have some graffiti on them and the landscaping could use a little tube up. We love coming here though and will certainly be back.

They just don't want people driving through the subdivision to get here. So if we want to drive, it's out to the main road and three left turns. Stands to reason we always walk. The park gives you interesting views of the city especially at night. There's a neat path made from lava rocks and is an excellent place to hike. 12/24
