The estimator came to our home the beginning of April and said we would have the estimate the end of the day. I've called 4-5 times during the past six weeks, spoke with the person answering the phone, and was assured each time that someone would get back to us. Well, it's June 11, and no return calls. I guess we're lucky, because after reading many of these reviews, we dodged a bullet. How do they stay in business with service like this? This is a great company if you want Mediocre work , more than ten water leaks, cover up for shoddy work , if you want tile floors that are not even they are good for that, if you want chipped counter back splash they will do that for you if you want them to cover up their mistakes they will gladly do that for you. When we moved in we found the shower backed up. Meltini plumber came with tools he never used before to clear the drain pipe. The tile person emptied his cement down the drain. That is only the begining. The plumber hear was the worst. Have of the work needs to be done over again. He did not install a faucet of equal value in the kitchen, nor did he use the new tubing i purchased. Today I find the drain pipe in the master bath almost out of the wall. Everything was loose and leaking had started. The porcelain floor has steps that any senior could trip over. We did not get all of the correct cabinets and had to agree with less. I hope you have the picture. All of these have been brought to George's attention and he and his "project manager" had an answer for each. Including the water pressure in the kitchen sink. My kitchen remodel January 2021 : Meltini Jupiter was very difficult to work with. In the beginning I was assured great help from the Meltini staff.. When various issues occurred that needed correcting it became an argument . Poor management and lack of communication followed. This review is prompted because of cabinet parts falling off the wall. I contacted Meltini Kitchen and Bath, 7/26/2022, and spoke to Alyssa CSR, requested to speak with George (owner), he was, as usual, not available. I emailed both Alyssa and George, including pictures, followed up the following day with a phone call and was told 'we are looking into it', 'when we have something to call you back with, we'll be in touch'. It was at this time that I was informed that Janine, the GC assigned to the original project, was going to handling the matter. I did convey my opinion at this point and indicated her, Janine's, ineptitude, lack of professionalism and non-existent attention to detail were the only 'qualities' I could recall from previous encounter(s). We began a kitchen remodeling project in 2015 (preliminary design). To be clear, the footprint of the kitchen stayed the same. There was minimal electrical work that needed to be done, virtually no or basic plumbing, no relocation of appliances. The designer we were working with initially was fired, we were never notified. I called for an update regarding the schedule for the job, we were told that there was no job under our name (despite the fact they had our initial deposit). To their credit, they scrambled to put 'something' together; this is where the credit stops. The incorrect materials were ordered multiple times. Delay after delay after delay were blamed on cabinetmakers delivery drivers, everybody but themselves. Cabinet components arrived damaged, inside packing material, shipped this way from the factory (more than once). Once the cabinets were finally installed it was time for the counter measure. Assured that we were being taken care of by the best that they had, they failed here too. Measured and templated twice (2X) and still got it wrong. I provided factory specifications for all appliances including measurements/ dimensions, it really could not have been much easier for them. Apparently, basic math and measuring is beyond them. The general contractor assigned to the job, Janine, made one single site visit. The owner, George, along with Janine, stopped taking phone calls, stopped returning phone calls, stopped returning e-mail messages. I actually went to the showroom/ storefront on Indiantown Road to see them in person, more than once. They were in a meeting, upstairs, and would be there all day, no time to address a client's concerns. They basically ceased all communication until they needed money. This is when they appeared on the doorstep, hat in hand, letting us know that there would be no further work until payment was received. The job was not complete (still not in my opinion 2022), we had no fully functional kitchen and basically had no other option but to pay. Of course, all leverage was now gone. Because I did not have a good feeling from the beginning, I managed to keep detailed records of calls, messages, photos of the project, time and date included. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BY CONTRACTING WITH THESE CHARLATANS! read more

We contracted with Meltini Kitchens of Boynton Beach to redo our kitchen in December 2021. It was finished in April 2022. We dealt with Chris, the owner; Luiz, the salesperson/designer; Les, construction overseer; and subcontractors with their crews. Although happy with the end result, delays ensued because of intra-company lack of communication and personnel spread too thinly over many jobs. 1. Subcontractors are rotated around the other Meltini jobs going on simultaneously, so if anything gets off schedule you wait for the next open time for that contractor. 2. All extra charges/changes must be approved by the salesperson, but often no one can get ahold of him, even within his own company. Sometimes we got emails, sometimes texts, sometimes calls, sometimes no response. Changes were not communicated to other personnel. 3. Lack of attention to detail in the preliminary planning stages led to bigger problems later on: measurements around counter-depth fridge did not leave enough room to open without hitting countertop. Pantry was measured incorrectly, so cabinet had to be reordered and rescheduled for install. Stove electrical outlet was put in too high for stove connection. 4. Demo of the old cabinets left a crowbar shaped hole in the wall and material inside the wall, impeding a pocket door's clearance. Meltini at first denied they had caused the problem, then offered to fix it, but we hired our own carpenter to make sure it was done correctly and quickly. 5. The wrong floor tile was delivered, we were blamed for "not liking it", and a replacement from the warehouse offered, but we opted to wait for the reorder of proper material. If we had not been home the day of delivery, the wrong tile would have been installed. 6. Electrical wires were left live and exposed, and a disconnected ceiling exhaust shoved up into attic space. We called our own electrician to resolve the fan and live wires. 7. Tile super left worker to remove spacers and grout floor, and he smashed them haphazardly, leaving many exposed after the grout dried. With pictures and several complaints up the chain of command, this was finally rectified. FIRED BEFORE THEY WERE HIRED. Terrible customer service by Andrew. Never came to the house to take measurements. Sent someone else due to a family emergency. Never followed up. When we made an appointment to review our designs, he claimed he never received them and blamed the other designer for putting them on his desk without telling him. (how cluttered is ones desk that you don't know what is on it and why did Andrew not follow up with the person he sent....I mean it was his job)...blamed the receptionist for scheduling an appointment on his calendar...(who does not check their calendar).....Never apologized. When owner called an hour later...he never apologized and seemed to have been told it was a "mix up" with the designers....NO IT WAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE....I have seen other reviews here about their poor customer service so it seems to be a theme.... read more

This has gone on for months. Wrong cabinet delivered. Awful plumber first, better second, but awful still. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Two months of hell. Good luck if you buy it. I wish I could award zero stars. I received an estimate for a kitchen remodel that stated frameless cabinets but when they arrived they were ordinary framed cabinets. I called to complain and was told that the owner was out of town, but I would receive a credit for the difference in price when he returned. Since my old cabinets had already been torn out and my old appliances were given away, I did not want to wait for new cabinets to be made, I agreed. When the owner returned, he said that the salesman who gave me the estimate had been fired, and he had put in the order for framed cabinets and would not give me the credit. I should have sued, but didn't want any more hassles. Also the granite countertops turned color and the man the company sent over to clean them said that they should have been sealed and he could do nothing about it. read more

We hired Meltini in Jupiter late last year to remodel our kitchen. They started in January. Their workers were professional, on time, and did a great job. if I had an issue, I'd simply call them and a worker would respond almost immediately. No job is without its issues, and our remodeling project took longer than expected. However, Meltini was just awesome. We loved working with them and, most importantly, we now have the kitchen on our dreams. We don't often give glowing reviews, but Meltini has earned our endorsement! read more

I had Meltini do a full Kitchen renovation for us. Overall it was a great experience. While we were looking for someone to redo our kitchen, we stopped into their office and were happy right away with their knowledge and attentiveness to what we wanted our new kitchen to look like. George stopped by our house a day later to measure and come up with a quote. Shortly after, they had a printed design plan of the kitchen. George Loukas handled most of our project and guided us along the way to make sure things came out looking good. He was easy to work with and everyone at Meltini was communicative and responded quickly when I had questions or concerns along the way. The project took just over a month from start to finish. We could not be happier with how the new kitchen looks. It's exactly what we wanted and would 100% recommend Meltini. We hope to work with them again. read more

Even a nickel can sink between two edges of the tile at many places. Spacing between the tiles is not uniform. Highly qualified Engineer concluded that Meltini did not level the floor before laying the tiles. This is very substandard workmanship. read more

Had kitchen renovation / remodel done in 2018 ( could never say completed) because of the quality of the work ( had to redo several things or complete things that should have been done and usually are by the installers) . The project manager / interior designer was very rude and seemed to prefer to do things her way and not listen to the customer ( owner not much better) . I could go on but to many issues from when I signed the contract to making the last payment, had the owner sign the contract saying paid in full due to not having any trust in this company. If you want fake deadlines, charges for things added to price and work done by very inexperienced people, no customer service, then this place is for you. My suggestion run and don't even consider doing business with this "place" . And there are many more horror stories I have heard. Remember Meltini website only show good reviews ( owner can edit reviews on there own website) negative reviews have been removed. Remember the BBB ( which there not a member) and Yelp so all reviews and cannot be edited or changed. Good luck !!!! read more

We were so upset with the results, when they were done they asked if they could give us a gift certificate to a nice restaurant? I've asked them to leave our house. After failing to show for a 1 pm appointment (which had been made days in advance) I called at 1:20 pm asking where the worker was. He said he was in the showroom with a customer. After months of searching for a contractor, I decided on the wrong person. It took much longer than expected and some of the work could have been done by an amateur it was done so poorly. The owner says he stands behind his work. Maybe that's the problem. If he stood in front of it, he would see what is wrong. Meltini remodeled my bath in The fall of 2017. The toilets were defective,.the work took over 6 weeks. Necessary tile was not measured correctly and resulted in delays. One year later, the,shower needs floor needs to be regrouted. Shower doors leak as flooring is not level. One toilet is not working properly. Our experience with a master bathroom remodel using Meltini Kitchen & Bath was exceptional from beginning to end. Tim Wanat was our designer and point of contact throughout the contract. Tim designed our master bathroom remodel in real-time with us at his office discussing our desires and quickly developed a 3D model that was extremely helpful for visualizing the end result. Tim followed our project closely throughout the demolition and re-construction phases communicating with us frequently and stopping by daily to inspect the progress and go over any problems that we saw. We never had any issue contacting Tim during the entire effort. Tim and his company addressed all issues we had without any questions regardless of the size of the problem. We were extremely happy with the end result and would highly recommend Tim Wanat and Meltini Kitchen & Bath to anyone considering a bathroom or kitchen upgrade. Meltini also provided us with a schedule of work to be performed so we knew who to expect and when which was extremely helpful. Meltini's tiling, plumber and electrical subcontractors were excellent, very professional and cleaned up the mess after completing their work. Several weeks after the installation, Meltini followed up and fixed adjustment issues we had with the bathroom vanity doors without question and free of charge. The project turned out OK but the journey getting there was HELL!! Once they got the 50% deposit it was all over. If you like being to be belittled, told no one ever makes changes ( and I was willing to pay for my mistake), accused of micromanaging ( trying to prevent a problem before it became one and eventually did), lied to and things being done over 2 and 3 times, then this is your place. After I signed the contract I told people who was doing my renovation and all they said was "OH" and there project managers are known for NOT being " Customer Friendly". Would have paid 30% more and gone with someone else . Customer Service was absolutely horrible but when it was time for more money you heard from them. I could go on and on but all the pictures and pages of notes would take forever to type, but I bet I'll hear from them now.. No Need. When your own employees write reviews for the company, I should have known this was not going to be a good situation. read more
