I found Victor here in Yelp after he responded to an inquiry I had posted. His price was very reasonable and his work was fantastic. We needed all the floors re-tiled because almost every room was different. Some was original, some was tiled over original and some was laminant that was in such bad condition. We closed on the 18th and needed him to start ASAP. He was available the next day for the tear out and started tiling with his guys that Monday. The whole project in our 2,650 sq ft was done in the two weeks that I had requested, with baseboards installed. He was very punctual, professional and polite. After my garbage disposal developed a leak, the water ruined my under-sink kitchen cabinet. I requested estimates from several companies. The only one who followed up and followed through was Vitor of Woodx, who kept in communication with me, and made and kept his appointments. This is a rarity in South Florida. I purchased a replacement cabinet and disposal unit. Vitor gave me a fair quote, which was a pleasant surprise. He came as promised, and replaced and installed the cabinet and the disposal. We wanted to remodel our kitchen so I called WoodX (Vitor) because of his outstanding reviews on Yelp. He replied immediately and came to our house the next day. He was open, friendly, and positive--no ifs, ands, or buts. He gave us an up-front price on the refinishing of our cabinets, a price we considered reasonable and fair. We hired him on the spot. Soon he reappeared with a helper and removed the cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and end caps. He sanded and prepped them in his shop before finishing them in the blue tone lacquer we wanted and later re-installing them along with our new Richelieu pulls. He refinished the in-place panels in the kitchen after carefully screening off the area. Vitor often works with a fabricator whom we hired for the quartz countertops and backsplash. The whole remodeling process took about two weeks and was done with consistent care, professionalism, and communication. We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen, which cost us about 35% of what we would have paid had we hired one of the two local companies we asked to bid on our remodeling job.
