My fiance' and I have lived here for a year now. When we were looking for an apartment, we were drawn to this one because of the big floor plans and convenient location (It is right off of the creek turnpike at Memorial). We got a really great deal on a 2 bedroom apartment and have loved living here. When we moved in, we got new countertops, a new microwave, and new carpet. The tile is a little outdated (not old...just outdated looking) and the dishwasher and refrigerator could use an upgrade, but overall everything is in great shape. I was worried that our rent would be going up quite a bit upon renewal, because apartment complexes tend to do that, but we just got our notification and it is only going up 20 dollars a month. Pros: Nice open floorplans, big bedrooms, nice and friendly workers, any problems are fixed quickly, pretty quiet most of the time, right next to running trail, easy highway access, quick snow removal on parking lot and sidewalks Cons: Sometimes the stoplight to get onto Memorial doesn't work, so you either have to run it or turn right instead of left, apartment gym could use some updates read more

if could do zero stars I would. my friends air conditioner out for two days in late June with no help is a disgrace. they demand his rent but don't hold up their end of the bargain. don't live there. There are much better places at that price. read more

My husband and I have been here for 5/6 months and it's been great overall. Moving in, Peri guided us through everything and when she noticed the handicapped placard in our car for me, she had a reserved handicap space put in in less than 48 hours. The buildings are lit at night and there's street lamps, something our previous residence didn't. I feel a lot safer here! read more

If i could give this palace a zero start I would I been living in this apartment for 2 1/2 years never really had a issue until they got new staff in the old staff was amazing I've been dealing with mold growing on half of my apartment they came out 3 TIMES ! Never got it fix my apartment smell wet everytime I call the office they always say there are going to get someone out an never do or they will send a janky maintenance man out that don't know what he's doing ! Parking is horrible I had to park 3 buildings down from my building so you have to spend the extra money to get an a garage! Which is a 100 plus all the other fee property an stair wells have trash an dog feces all over the place , we been paying for trash valet an they just started picking up trash in February, we pay for pest control your better off calling on your own they suppose to come out once a week never happens unless you keep calling ! The manager Alex has a very bad attitude an very unprofessional when you call about updates the gates hasn't been close the whole time ive been living here everytime your lease is up they go up $300 on rent it's just not worth it save your money o an when you move make sure the apartment is good cause they will slap you with a nice big balance !!! DO NOT MOVE HERE a lot of residents are complaining about the same things I deal with you almost have to threaten them with calling the news or health department these good reviews are fake they ask you when you come in an tour or move in to leave a good review for them but they new management an staff unacceptable only good thing about this place is the location !! read more

I love living in the Memorial Creek Apartments in Tulsa, OK I have lived here before you took over and I understand that transition is hard for people and takes time but there are a few major issues that have arose that I feel need to be addressed quickly. One I do not understand the purpose of pay to pay rent for example paying $3.00 for a $100 rent check to me that is asinine and absurd. Or worse a credit card fee of $30. That makes no sense. I feel that I nor anyone who live in your complexes have any value other than monetary and that's not OK. People like me and others get paid on Friday's and cant always pay rent on the due date so I have to incur an additional fee on top of rent. I feel that is cheap and shows no care to the people who live in your complexes. I feel like widener thinks they are the only place to live but I can assure you your not. Since I have lived here I know 90% of the people who lived here when the other company was managing have since left because of absurdities like the rent. Last but not least I have a huge social life and like to entertain but I am ashamed to bring people over because our streets are torn up and look forgot. Man if I could give it 0 stars I would. I hated it here. I paid a $400 deposit and will never see that back. When I moved in, I paid 750 for a 1 bedroom. Not too bad, but then you have to pay north of $100 in random fees every single month that gets added to rent. Then the next year it jumped up to about 820 a month for my 1 bedroom. Plus the fees. And when my lease was coming to an end, they sent me an offer for over $900 per month for a ONE BEDROOM. Plus the extra fees every month. I would never pay $1000 per month to live in an apartment of this caliber. They don't have enough maintenance staff. if you have a problem that isn't an emergency, good luck. You're waiting 2 weeks to get it fixed at best. They have ONE garbage bin for the entire complex. When everybody complained about it, they decided to make us pay $25 a month for somebody to take out our trash for us, which didn't fix anything. There is constantly trash all over the ground where the garbage goes. I mean a LOT. They charge every single person in the complex when somebody puts furniture at the garbage area. they would rather profit off of it than to find out who is leaving it there. They would have no issue putting a camera on the garbage area to find out who is leaving furniture there and charging them accordingly. Instead, they would rather charge every person. There's always an ant problem since people are now leaving their trash on door steps. I honestly hated this place. I would never recommend This place to a friend. Not even if they paid me. Avoid this place unless you have no value for your money, and you don't care that your Maintenance will take weeks for a resolution. If you have plenty of money and don't care where it goes, this could be your next home. But if you're barely living paycheck to paycheck, this place is not what it seems. read more

Since Weidner purchased Memorial Creek Apartments, it is no longer a luxury apartment, as continued to go downhill. They no longer have security. The front and back gates are always open, because they don't pay their bills. The office staff has a constant turnover. All the good tenants started moving out, as they were dissatisfied with the way management runs the place. It is hard to get anything done for the type of rent you pay. The parking lot continues to be filled with pot holes. The mailroom is a disaster as they apparently clean it once a week. Weidner lacks good customer service. Tenants let their dogs run loose and don't clean up after them. People park in fire lanes, over the line and in front of garages. Weidner removed the free weights from the gym and the current equipment is do outdated, that I ended up joining a gym. I finally decided to move and would not recommend any property that is owned by Weidner. read more

I have lived in these apartment for over a year. They recently got all new office staff. Which they are all rude and not inviting. The old staff would remember you by name and greet you as you walk in and it was a great. The ladies here make you feel like you don't belong and shouldn't even step foot in the building. I also have problems with the key cards you get for the gym and gate. Which the gate is a joke. It's ALWAYS under maintenance. I've had to change my card out multiple times. It's just an inconvenience. They say there's a security that comes around at night and I've probably seen it a total of 3x since I've been here. We got this place because of the apartment layout. We love the 9ft ceilings and the huge bathtub since we have 2 kids it's very enjoyable. It's also in Jenks school district which is a plus for us. It's also right next to the mingo trail which is great for walks. It is sometimes loud at night due to airplanes, the hwy next to us and just loud neighbors. The walls are thin so you hear everyone around you. There's only 1 dumpster for the entire complex so it gets full fast and then it starts to stink so you can smell it when you drive by. Also you can't enjoy the grass since people hardly ever pick up their dogs poop. It's seems all great at visit glance but that quickly changes after you been here a couple of months. read more

My client just moved into this dump. The unit was not clean, old food in microwave and oven Blood on walls and door jams. Holes punched and kicked into doors. The bedroom windows have been sealed shut, and no working air conditioner. management said they would have a cleaning crew this past Friday early morning. Have you seen them, no we either. No response from management. She has put money out of pocket for carpet shampooing and other repairs. She is a senior citizen on a fixed income. Just what happened in that unit why were doors kicked in and blood all over? By law management must tell future resident of any drugs meth labs etc.From the pictures I have seen , looks like a crack house. According to the Oklahoma landlord and tenant laws 41 os 2001 they are in violation of section 118, 121, and 125. Landlord must provide a safe, clean, unit and building. All things must be working Her refrigerator has 2 big dents from where someone kicked it in. Nothing is working. Run don't walk away from here. read more

I live at MC for 2 years. It was a good place until I moved out. I gave my 30 day notice and cleaned my apartment very good. The assistant manager OK'd it. I was told my deposit would be returned in about 30 days. I have given a deposit of $200.00 & $300.00 pet deposit, & $50.00 remote deposit. I only received $150.00 back. I didn't damage anything. I have called with no results. BEWARE!!!!!!! read more
