After I researched his medical board reprimands which were beyond serious I was convinced I made a huge mistake going to his office. It seems we are all diagnosed with something to keep us coming back. Yet he's still affiliated with a hospital and has a practice. I now check on all physicians before I see them. This was a wake up call for me.

I'm 78 yrs old, was in need of hyaluronic injections in my knees, hx of osteo arthritis, peripheral neuropathy, my feet are numb which impairs my balance and I have joint stiffness, In addition to that , I completed radiation for lung cancer on May 8th and wanted my knee situation to be somewhat better before the post-radiation fatigue commenced. ALL CAN BE VERIFIED. In addition to that I'm a retired medical professional. I don't know if Dr Burns instructed her to be this way to insulate him but this bordered on elder abuse. No one should have been treated as I was. I needed his help, waited 2 months for the appt and was basicallly thrown out of his office, with the threat of being escorted by security, and no resolution being offered. This woman is the face of his medical practice, and sets the tone for a pleasant , professional experience or one that is the opposite. Maybe I dodged a bullet. Anyway, she represents him. Just because I was not aware that he wanted me to be seen at 8am, There was a power outage going on 4 days so I missed the message on my cell phone and showed up later around 11:00 and asked if he would please see me. I would have taken another appt, on another day but never happened. She was very hateful and mean and I feel for others who come across her wrath just trying to get badly needed medical treatment. She needs to be fired.

While my Doctors have been decent. Currently with Dr.Gollapalli. My experiences with this office…read morehas been horrible. My medications don't get refilled. The pharmacy requests sit unanswered. I spent an hour and a half yesterday trying to speak with someone to understand why the refills haven't been sent back. I was told ok, let me check and call you back. NO CALL BACK, no refills. Down to my last dose of a maintenance medication for potential life-threatening condition. Call pharmacy today, "no sir, we don't have the authorization from your doctor". Spent 2 hours on phone trying to speak with someone. I finally received a call saying "you haven't had your follow up appointment so we can't refill your prescription". Mind you, I have been on the same meds with the same dosage FOR YEARS. Second, my recent follow up appointment was canceled by the Dr office! Then the next appointment was during hurricane and canceled! Meanwhile, the pharmacy sent the request TWO WEEKS ago, no contact from the Dr office whatsoever stating there was any kind of issue! I was told they would send over a temporary supply only if I scheduled an appointment right that second. This office is horrible to deal, no patient focus whatsoever. Will hold your HEALTH HOSTAGE to make sure they get their appointment $$. You are JUST A DOLLAR SIGN here! STAY AWAY! I will be finding a new doctor in short order!
