Three stars for the hospital itself but 5 stars for the beautiful structure, and many of the reputable and admirable clinics and services located within. We've dealt with probably 70 different offices among the hundreds that are located here, and are happy to say we have friends in many of them. Very impressive indeed. I spent an hour and a half yesterday trying to speak with someone to understand why the refills haven't been sent back. I was told ok, let me check and call you back. NO CALL BACK, no refills. Down to my last dose of a maintenance medication for potential life-threatening condition. Call pharmacy today, "no sir, we don't have the authorization from your doctor". Spent 2 hours on phone trying to speak with someone. I finally received a call saying "you haven't had your follow up appointment so we can't refill your prescription". Mind you, I have been on the same meds with the same dosage FOR YEARS. Second, my recent follow up appointment was canceled by the Dr office! Then the next appointment was during hurricane and canceled! Meanwhile, the pharmacy sent the request TWO WEEKS ago, no contact from the Dr office whatsoever stating there was any kind of issue! I was told they would send over a temporary supply only if I scheduled an appointment right that second. This office is horrible to deal, no patient focus whatsoever. Will hold your HEALTH HOSTAGE to make sure they get their appointment $$. You are JUST A DOLLAR SIGN here! STAY AWAY! I will be finding a new doctor in short order!

I LOVE doing things online & this practice makes everything easy. Once my new patient forms were filled out, the office called me & got my appointment scheduled immediately. Their office is located in a convenient area with plenty of parking. The office is clean & hey, gotta love a place that plays music like "Fat Bottom Girls" & "Enter Sandman". For the first time ever, I was seen promptly & shown to the examination room. I love Dr. Tucker! She is awesome, nice & has a really relaxed vibe. Before long, I was on my way for my blood test & how convenient there is a small Lab Corp office off of their reception area. So a one stop visit. Staff are extremely nice & efficient. He is unashamedly money hungry, wanting to do a colonoscopy every year. I mentioned that I was still taking indigo for my UC when we were already out in the hallway. He laughed at me and asked the doctor who was standing next to him if he ever heard about it. It's the best medication I've used so far and I don't even have to go through other people to get it. I had a great gastroenterologist not long before him, unfortunately for me he retired. After one of my colonoscopies, they sent a bill for $800 for labs for the polyps. After a million calls to them, one of the staff talked about it on the phone with me and said that next time, I need to tell them at the clinic to only use providers that are covered by my insurance. Be ready for 3 bills in addition to the $1000 that you have to pay upfront for each colonoscopy. I switched to a doctor who does their colonoscopies at Memorial Endoscopy Center. The total for everything ended up being like $1500 with them. With Khandawalla, I had to pay $2200. I did see Dr. Thompson first but only went to him once because he was rude and not at all delicate about my prognosis. That was hands down the worst bedside manner I've ever received. But Khandawalla was pretty rude and annoying too. The front desk staff care more about the socializing they are doing with each other than about talking to patients. They are stiff necked while interacting with patients.

He takes the time to listen, explain, and make sure we feel confident in every decision. Just as important, his staff is equally wonderful--always welcoming, organized, and responsive. From scheduling to follow-ups, they make everything run smoothly, and we truly feel like part of the family when we walk through the door. Our twins actually enjoy going to the doctor, and that speaks volumes. We're so grateful to have found a pediatrician and team we can trust completely. Highly recommend!

All the physicians are the cream of the crop, and I want to give a special shout out to Dr. Jung and Dr. Lindsay. They have gone above and beyond for my kids, and they are extremely funny. The location is great and in the heart of Spring Branch - off Gessner and I-10 - though that area can get congested at times. The parking is easy and there is a skywalk from the parking garage to the clinic building. Lastly, having worked in healthcare myself, I know how important a smooth billing operation is. Bluefish's billing operation is top notch, so kudos to the billing leadership and staff. They told me 5 days to get a referral through. No escalation path for emergencies. My doc put a STAT and rush on it. Their "referral specialists" just speak from a script. Forget ever talking directly to a provider. Even though I like my doc and hate starting over, I'm changing at the end of the year during open enrollment along with my Medicare plan.
