The photographer Missy spent time the days before visiting the locations I wanted to have the pictures done. Although it was out of her way and took a lot of her time, she was so nice and patient and helped me chose the best locations of my list to get the best shots. She didn't even charge for that! The day of the shoot, we felt so relaxed and prepared. When we showed up she had an assistant and brought amazing props that we used which brought a whole new spin to our pics that I loved! I want to start by saying I have never been "camera shy" but that was until I had my first…read moreprofessional photography session! I had heard about Genevieve Hansen through a few friends that had all used her and she came highly recommended! So I thought I would reach out and see if she was available to help me with a little surprise for my fiancé as she has always wanted to get professional photos! Genevieve was more than happy to help me figure everything out, help with multiple great locations that I could pick from, and not to mention we showed up late to our first photo session! Genevieve saw from minute 1 that my fiancé and I were brushing off being irritated that we made each other late and trying to make the whole surprise happen. She instantly brought up that we should take a break and reschedule when we can be more relaxed and genuinely happy! That is unheard of these days for a business professional to place her business on hold to ensure for the best possible outcome! So, here comes round 2 and we are back and ready to roll... Turns out that when I am put on the spot for photos I am not as photogenic as I once thought! I was nervous! I felt awkward as I wasn't use to having to "pose" for the photos.
