I ordered a regular beef donair, with tomatoes, lettuce and onions, accompanied with a donair sweet sauce. The vegetables were very fresh, the sliced donair meat (beef) was very tasty and so was the pita. The regular donair is the smallest, but even as the smallest, it is a very generous sized donair sandwich. I was so full and satisfied after being done!! The sweet sauce was also very delicious, and not overly sweet or garlicky. Buster's Pizza & Donair of Cold Lake, AB, is one of many franchises, so there is often one close by when you want delicious and excellent quality pizza and donairs. Very few condiments to speak of...mustard, relish and sauerkraut are options that one can put on their hotdog or hamburger. The frozen meats are on the expensive side -- 8 dollars for 6 very skimpy premade and cooked 'kubi' patties which happens to be pork. All in all, not too impressed. I do like the fact that this company - farmer does have their animals in a free range and is anti-biotic free. However, the meat is lacking in taste and tenderness. Lastly, this farmer sends their product to a 'meat market' butcher off-site of their farm for processing. It is difficult to keep up with quality control when a farmer does not do their own butchering and when they do not make their own sausages, etc.

Neither of us we're very drunk at all, and I was completely sober as I had only had one drink. So we took a taxi to the Pour House, went inside and while my girlfriend was getting her ID out of her very full purse (she had two pairs of shoes, two tshirts, and all of he other things that go in a purse) and she accidentally dropped it, which might I add is something that happens to me sober on an almost daily basis, and the bouncer, who has no right telling people if they can or cannot get in if you've had too much, That's the bartenders job. He says "oh I think you've had a bit too much to drink" and we both thought he was joking because we were both 100% coherent. So we both show him our ID, and it's not like we're 18 years old and just able to get drunk, we're both in our mid 20's, we know what we're doing. So we explained that we were at a concert, and he said "oh that's probably why. Sorry you're not getting in" so we had to go to the cabbie who was, thank god still outside and had to pay another $20 to get back home. Long story short, we will not be attending this tavern as long as this man is still working there, and as I said to the cabbie, he needs to get Laid, spayed or paid ASAP.
