Hi we have a bad review of this company we usually don't do this but please be aware We booked them last fall for a window cleaning after being a good customer for 3 years and they never came, not even a phone call or nothing We were told that they were short staffed and they were sorry and couldn't clean our windows but we were on top of their list for the Spring So we received an email from them that they were coming by between 3 and 5 for an estimate for this year ( why we asked since you have done our windows for 3 years now ) but we said ok and we waited and waited and they never showed up. We gave up and called another company who came the next day for an estimate and off we go I was in the customer service business for for 45 years this is a disgrace to our type of service read more

Men in kilts did a very bad job of my place in big cedar I sent them an email about this and received no response . When I tried to call twice I was told they could not receive any more messages. I had agreed to 514. to clean the inside and outside of the windows as well as the screens. My appointment was for 1-3 on Tuesday May 20. The person arrived at 130. I told him to do the inside windows first as I had a showing at 3pm. The inside work was fine but the outside windows were not done despite being charged 212$ for it . The screen cleaning was not done yet I was charged 36$ Do not use their service its a waste of money read more

Decent price, great customer service, good quality of work. I had the Men in Kilts come to clean my eaves troughs. They did the work in a timely fashion, and showed me both pictures of repairs to my gutters that needed to be made and made suggestions on having another down-spout added as only one from the highest point of my roof wasn't sufficient. Unfortunately they couldn't perform the repairs as that is not the kind of work they do. Also it was offered to me via phone after the service was performed, that I get a call-back the next spring season to get my gutters cleaned again, which I received accordingly. All-in-all, my experience with Men in Kilts was positive in every way shape & form, and I'd recommend them accordingly. read more

They provide good service and the gentlemen were prompt and polite. It sucked I took time off work to have them show up without a ladder big enough to reach my roof, but they owned that and we rescheduled there. No issues after that. I would use again most certainly. read more

I waited until late in the spring to call to get my gutters cleaned and my windows (inside and out) cleaned. It was going to be a months+ wait. I asked to be put on a waiting list just in case someone cancelled (they did). We got in almost a couple weeks earlier than expected. The guys came on time. They were friendly and professional. They needed to re-quote the job because apparently they can only guesstimate over the phone. That made me lurch as I figured it was a ploy or tactic to increase the rates already quoted. It turned out the original quote was the same :) They were efficient and did an excellent job. I'm so glad someone on Facebook said that they used them and liked them.... otherwise I would never have found these gems :D read more

We have used Men in Kilts for our windows (inside and out) and gutter cleaning annually for the last 2 years. Amazing service, appointments are a breeze to set up, the guys are clean, tidy, courteous and respectful of our property. Hey even our large dog likes their kilts!! I can't really say whether Men in Kilts Orillia do a good job or not because, they didn't show up and greatly inconvenienced me. I booked the appointment on Monday for Thursday(August 10) with the 'technicians' coming between 3:00 p.m. and 5:p.m. I am not normally in Orillia on Thursdays, but I said I would come up to meet them. I was speaking to a contact in British Columbia. They apparently do all the bookings. I received a call at 9:37 today telling me that they needed to change the window to 1:00 to 3:00 from 3:00 to 5:00. I told her that I would cancel a couple of appointments and be there fpr 1:00 pm.I arrived at our cottage at 12:30 and received another call at 1:15 from BC saying they had tp cancel the service today. Their first job took them longer than anticipated.She apologized and said that the first time they could do our windows was Tuesday August 15. I explained that I would be on a plane that morning heading out coincidentally to BC. She asked if I would like to rebook for after our vacation. I declined since I wouldn't know if they would actually show up. I like to patronize local businesses, but not this one any more. I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism.
