I used to drive to Jefferson City or St. Louis to shop at Menards. We're so lucky to have one in Rolla. And the app is an excellent convenience. We were pleased with Lowes but having strong competition is a good thing and Menards is a very strong competitor. Their selection and service is excellent and I've found their employees knowledgeable and helpful. I'd rather get their promotions as sales instead of rebates but understand why they do it. Once I had an issue with a rebate not arriving and it took a couple tries but they solved it. During this pandemic I've got to emphasize the app. It's great to just pull up and all my shopping items are ready. I think you can also do it via the website. I'm going to keep using it after this is all over. One piece of advice for Menards -- it needs to be possible to pay with rebates and return credits via the app and website. You have numbers on these things so it should be doable. That will increase use of the app. It might already be possible but it wasn't obvious. Bottom line: I'll keep using them and am grateful they came to town. :-) read more

So first of all I wanted to mention that I'm on the west coast of the US so Menards is not even available on our side of the country. I really, really like some of the products carried here and recently I made a purchase. Well I got my item fast but they didn't even bother to put it in a box or anything so my item was exposed during the shipping process. I wanted to point out how unprofessional that is and it is a complete rip off to try and charge anyone $5.00 for black plastic wrap! Seriously? You guys charged me a fee to go get it off the damn shelf but don't have the common sense to cover the item and ship it, without charging more money? For fees and shipping I paid an additional $10.00- AT LEAST I should have had something covering my item, because when I got it, it was flipping squished on the side! My husband and I are about to purchase more than $15,000 in products from the roof and siding department. We had the terrible luck of being "served" by Julie this morning. She was mean and rude. Julie didn't punch me in the face when I wanted details about the different shingle options. I guess we should be grateful for that. It was so bad that I asked if someone else could assist us. DO NOT PURCHASE QUARTZ COUNTERS FROM MENARDS! It would take two chapters to explain how bad the order was handled, how inferior the product is compared to other Quartz providers, and how terrible Menards handles installers but I'll just summarize. First of all, you'll have seems everywhere in Menards quartz counters. We have five seams in our counters where another provider would have put only one (yes, I checked). Secondly, the pieces are not well cut. Corners are chipped, edges aren't straight so pieces don't fit well together, and the cutters simply don't follow the order plans. We had edges that didn't match and had to reorder one piece THREE times (nine week delays). The last piece was slightly thicker and doesn't match either. We quit, they are terrible. AND I DIDN'T GET MY REBATE! read more

Paid over 6,000 in windows and doors. Had them delivered and the guy damaged my property. Manards said its a 3rd party that does our delivery and you will have to contact the drivers personnel insurance for the damage. Manards takes no ownership for delivery items. They never told us it was a third party either. We also never signed a delivery contract either with them. Don't have items delivered! Won't be shopping here anymore. Hope the $148 delivery fee was worth losing a customer. read more

I would have given no zero's but that was not an option. I ordered a tiller from their website at the Rolla Store. I charged it to my Menards Big card. I live in Lebanon one hour away from Rolla and have a pickup and would have gone and picked it up but on their website that was not an option. I ordered on May 30th it shipped on May 31st, and the website said it would take 3 days. It is now 6/11 and still not tiller. I have emailed three times to their customer service and have gotten no response. Their website gives no info only says shipped 5/31. They charged me $190.90 for delivery which as I stated I am one hour from the store and could have picked it up. I tried to file a complaint with the BBB but their website gave Menard's an F grade due to the fact that they never respond to a customer complaint so I did not file. I will never shop at a Menards again due to all of this. read more

Never been to a Menards before and we LOVED it. The store was very clean, well stocked, and the workers were pleasant and willing to help without being pushy like in some other places. This store is an hour from our house and well worth the drive. We went looking for (and found) a swing set. We left thinking about our next home project. read more

My fiancée and I made a hour and a half trip to Rolla Menards because they had the best pricing on some plumbing we needed for building our new home. He called an order in yesterday morning....it was not ready when we got there. We also called to add to the order and the gentleman on the phone told us to find it online and order it instead of just adding to our existing order. We needed a water hose, asked where they were located...told lawn and garden no pointing in which direction to go or any assistance offered to help. Went to ask about floor truss and the guy just got on computer and told us where to look it up online!!! Really?? Couldn't even answer the questions we needed or attempt to help us without an attitude. And in the middle of "helping" us switched to a different program to run a ticket or something for someone else...we just walked away!! Went to check out and asked if we could get our tickets for what we needed to pick up outside. Girl checking us out couldn't do that. Went back to customer service for the third time and she said we would just have to wait on her to have time to come take care of us....not another customer in sight!!!! Took 30 mins for them to get the order that was supposed to be ready together and on our trailer. There was not a single helpful person there this morning Terrible customer service especially when people are spending lots and lots of money!! Get your priorities right Menards in Rolla!!! read more
