After treatments I was able to have less pain and sleep well night after treatment. I was working on getting two spine fusions approved and she gave me an island of peace during the medical maze we find ourselves in today. Tanja is a caring and open person finding her treatments that are problem specific. The needles were not scary and the results were so helpful in the days after treatment. i had a neck fusion in Oct and just had a nine level fusion last week. When I fully recover I am going to reconnect with her and talk of some options to help my recovery. Tanja is on my A list of options as I rust away. So while visiting my mother, she hooked me up with her therapist (if it weren't for injuries & rehab, my mom wouldn't know what a massage therapist was). So, i was a bit skeptical. But, i was pleasantly surprised. Amy did quite a bit in an hour (i normal do 1.5 to 2.0). She found all my trouble areas - due to injuries - etc with out much conversation. I am very pleased. She use to work out of a chiropractic office, and now on her own. Rates as of this writing (i believe, so confirm when making an appointment- 1 hour $70, 1.5 hour - $90). She is located on the third floor (there is an elevator) i highly recommended, and your mom will be happy too.

They whisper when they talk so as to respect the people getting treatment and keep a zen-like environment. They have soft peaceful music playing, noise machines, and aromatherapy oil diffusers going, creating a soft calming scent. Anna at the front desk is awesome - always there with a smile, greeting you as you walk in. She is so cool to talk to as well. I'm always happy to see her. I have seen two acupuncturists so far, but I really love Autumn Goodrich. I only book with her now. She has a maternal energy, making me feel like she is taking good care of me. She is a very knowledgeable practitioner and takes her time working with me, making me feel like I'm her only patient. Your first appointment is about 90 mins, where you fill out an in-depth medical questionnaire and the practitioner walks through it with you. They evaluate your tongue, take your pulse, and ask a lot of questions. Each follow up visit is about 45-60 mins. I have a history of stomach issues and chronic low back pain, so these areas have been my focus. Five sessions in, and I can tell a difference. I really look forward to coming in each week. It's a nice treat. I understand acupuncture to be great for stress management and the immune system. With winter approaching (and cold/flu season), I plan on going once/mo once I reach six sessions, going weekly. During your acupuncture session, you stay clothed but take your shoes and socks off. You're lying down either on your back or on your stomach (with a face rest - like a massage table) with soft sheets on the table to lie on (they even have flannel sheets for cold months!) and soft silk sheets (like real silk) to cover you up. They give you an eye mask to put over your eyes. Don't be surprised if you hear a lot of snoring. It's easy to fall asleep at PRH. There's tea and water in the kitchen area, where you can help yourself. Bathrooms are in the back. It's a great place, I highly recommend it. And they even have a sliding fee scale. What a nice gift PRH is to the Bozeman community.
