Should note that it's one big community room, with each table divided by sheets/curtains, so everyone needs to whisper all the time. Not a big deal, once you know what to expect.

They whisper when they talk so as to respect the people getting treatment and keep a zen-like environment. They have soft peaceful music playing, noise machines, and aromatherapy oil diffusers going, creating a soft calming scent. Anna at the front desk is awesome - always there with a smile, greeting you as you walk in. She is so cool to talk to as well. I'm always happy to see her. I have seen two acupuncturists so far, but I really love Autumn Goodrich. I only book with her now. She has a maternal energy, making me feel like she is taking good care of me. She is a very knowledgeable practitioner and takes her time working with me, making me feel like I'm her only patient. Your first appointment is about 90 mins, where you fill out an in-depth medical questionnaire and the practitioner walks through it with you. They evaluate your tongue, take your pulse, and ask a lot of questions. Each follow up visit is about 45-60 mins. I have a history of stomach issues and chronic low back pain, so these areas have been my focus. Five sessions in, and I can tell a difference. I really look forward to coming in each week. It's a nice treat. I understand acupuncture to be great for stress management and the immune system. With winter approaching (and cold/flu season), I plan on going once/mo once I reach six sessions, going weekly. During your acupuncture session, you stay clothed but take your shoes and socks off. You're lying down either on your back or on your stomach (with a face rest - like a massage table) with soft sheets on the table to lie on (they even have flannel sheets for cold months!) and soft silk sheets (like real silk) to cover you up. They give you an eye mask to put over your eyes. Don't be surprised if you hear a lot of snoring. It's easy to fall asleep at PRH. There's tea and water in the kitchen area, where you can help yourself. Bathrooms are in the back. It's a great place, I highly recommend it. And they even have a sliding fee scale. What a nice gift PRH is to the Bozeman community.

I do long…read moredistance running and Peleton and suffer from lower back pain plus have a few injuries incl. one shoulder that was broken a few years ago. This combined with stiff neck and shoulders due to lots of computer work, makes me suffer from constant pain. I have tried a lot of massages and other therapies incl. chiropractors and osteopaths without any change. I have never tried shiatsu, so I thought I'd give it a go. I have now had a few treatments and its been life changing. Most of my pain is gone and my mobility highly improved. I can relax at a deeper level and feel so much better both physically and mentally. Thomas is highly skilled, extremely knowledgable and professional. He puts you at ease immediately, ask questions and has the ability to work with you on many levels. I was invited to one of his Qi Gong classes and it was a wonderful treat to combine the treatments with some physical movements. I can only recommend his services, as he is way beyond a traditional massage therapist/bodyworker, since he is a clinical shiatsu practitioner. GO SEE Thomas when you are in Bozeman, you won't regret it. I personally look forward to get ready for my next running race, pain free.

Both sessions blew my mind as Thomas is such a real professional in massage and mind healing. The studio is clean, modern, and zen-like displaying some wonderful products such as essential spray and tea. His technique is a combination of long strokes and soft touch, which is perfect for pain and anxiety relief. I will definitely visit him when I come back to Bozeman!
