I find Jennifer to be kind, capable, and very authentic. She is always a consummate professional,…read moreand I highly recommend her for whatever kind of counseling you might be needing. I am grateful for her expertise and resourcefulness in navigating the mental health industry!

Please proceed with caution if you are considering seeking any advice or guidance by this woman…read more She will act very attentive the first session and you will be duped into thinking she cares and can help. Ms. De Francisco cares about helping herself in terms of adding to her bank account. She had me coming on a regular basis when I sought her services during a time I was struggling. I wish I had went on a shopping spree or took a vacation rather than spend copious amounts of money with this woman. I was vulnerable and under her "spell" so to speak. She convinced me we were doing "intensive work" but really it was either her nodding her head or giving me ridiculous advice. Just one of many snippets of bad advice.....she suggested to relinquish parenting decisions over to my sister as it was her opinion that I wasn't strong enough to handle things with my pre teen child at the time. Mind you, she also knew my sister which is how I was even referred to Jennifer and my sister was vying to get control over my estate. It's all very messy and convoluted. So word of the wise, be selective when it comes to seeking help in difficult times.

Dr. Miriam Galindo is a wise, caring professional and a wonderful human being…read more I came to this site in search of Dr. Galindo's contact info. I wanted to track her down to give her an update on how everything "turned out" after our sessions with her 13 years ago. It was a difficult, scary period -- divorce and custody fight -- so I get how emotion and polarization might be the root of the few negative reviews. Nevertheless, when I told my son, now 18, that some reviews were critical, he said, "Mom, you have to write and tell everyone how great 'Miss Miriam' is!") Gabriel certainly remembers his Miss Miriam with affection. Only 5, through play therapy she helped him express his troubled feelings and fears. With respect and kindness, she helped him, even at that young age, recognize that what was happening was not his fault. For that, I am forever grateful. Dr. Galindo also gave me great counseling and words of advice that I have referred back to time and time again over the years. Among other things, she explained to me, "Our mother and father always form a part of who we are. So if you can find a way to help your son have a loving relationship with BOTH you and his daddy, you will be helping him become a more complete, mentally healthy person". Luckily I was able to "hear" those words and take that path. My son started college out in Boston this fall and is doing well. He has a loving relationship with both his father and me. I thank Dr. Galindo for her help in launching this beautiful boy. note: I've also posted this review on "RateMDs".

Dr. Galindo did permanent damage to my family. She was hired to do court ordered reunification…read moretherapy, and failed, on so many levels, at great financial and emotional costs to my family. She was slow, unavailable, and uncommunicative, when time was of the essence. She was co-opted by and failed to hold accountable the alienating parent, refusing to report how the mother was blocking progress and undermining the therapeutic process. It's only now, 4 years later with a broken family, that I realize how badly she failed my daughter and I. I highly recommend you find someone else for your estranged and/or alienated child and question whether she should be doing this kind of work at all.
