One of the worst shopping experiences ever when buying furniture. Couch was purchased in November…read moreand delivered mid June. All measurements of the building including doors, hallways and elevator were taken and given to the store. Fast forward 7 months later, the furniture arrives and it downs fit in the elevator. Because they had to use the stairs more money was wanted by the third party moving company hired by the furniture store. When I called to complain I was basically rudely told that it was my problem and I either had to pay it or they would return the couch and I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee. This was a $4K+ couch where I had already paid $600 for delivery. Please save your money and take your business anywhere else - been ordering from stepper and for 20 years with no issues.

It's a nice store to wander about in with a West Elm or Crate and Barrel vibe. However, I have had some issues. Firstly in product reliability. I purchased a mid century modern lamp for over $400. When I got it home and assembled it one of the custom lamp shades had a large tear in it. Returned it. Lamp #2 assembled (not a fun or easy assembly FYI), worked for 1 week, then nothing. Seemed to be an issue with the wiring and twisting "on" switch. Returned again. Lamp #3 now having been assembled and in house with Hue lights to completely avoid on-switch issues. It looks great but I wait with baited breath for next issue. You expect this when its IKEA value products, but not higher end pieces. Also, I have had mixed customer service. My first visit I had a very helpful male sales associate who helped me plug in things in the store to try. And the returns above went smoothly with no hassle. But, I went with my mom who had purchased a rug and the manager gave her a hard time, spouted off a completely different "return policy" than what is posted at register and on receipt, and after a lot of arguing only gave her store credit. Which might be fine on a small purchase. This was not. She's basically now sitting on an $1000 gift certificate that she can't find anything there to use it on. So definitely a fun browse and a quick token purchase, but just be aware of potential issues with major purchases.

Hence the pieces sat in their original shipping packaging for 3 months. Once opened the pieces were severely damaged. In opening a warranty request we were told that only 7 days were allowed for refund/exchange. As we were beyond that we requested a warranty claim opened. Again we were flatly denied. These damages were not caused by us, they were for sure the shipping company or Structube themselves. Now we have to attitude to make these pieces usable by replacing the broken pieces at our expense. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE
