The dining tables not so many on the floor but they could get you many from their catalogues. Some good Canadian manufacturers that we were looking for, but not all. They also have living room and outdoor furniture on display. The service and explanations were top notch. It's hard to get such amazing service elsewhere. They know their products. My mom ordered a queen sized mattress, box spring, bed frame and 8 dining chairs. The queen size mattress, boxspring and bed frame was NOT queen sized - it was 3 inches less in width and resembled a double. Even more disappointing, despite having being told the chairs were of the highest quality and made in Canada, they arrived in boxes stamped with "Made In China" where she could only accept 6 out of the 8 as 2 arrived smashed. We did not accept the remaining owed chairs once it was explained to us that "Made in China" can be advertised as "Made in Canada" as long as they were partially assembled in Canada. The quality by no means reflected the price tag and they offered no further help with the undersized bed.

In the summer there is a garden center. There is a dedicated paint section of the store. They carry a selection of kitchen supplies, including Paderno pots and pans. Services key cutting, screen door repair and propane tank exchange. Parking is in a private lot, and street parking is also available. They will order anything in the Home Hardware catalogue they they don't carry in-store. It usually takes less than a week for special orders to arrive. Prices are reasonable.

When so many other smaller hardware stores have closed this one just recently expanded. I don't visit too often but Saturday mornings often find me in Old South and at least a few times a year I make it into Tuckey's - including this past weekend. I cannot remember a time when they ever didn't have what I was looking for. That being said, I suspect their prices are slightly higher than the big box stores and the selection is clearly smaller. They have one or two options for each item - not twenty or thirty. I honestly don't mind spending an extra buck or two and most the items I'm looking for are relatively small items. Of course, in any Home Hardware carries it they will apparently have it shipped their for you. All that being said, the staff here are super friendly and it has a real friendly vibe. Staff are talking to each other, chatting with customers who are chatting with each other. It's great. They have a garden centre when the season is right and lots of stuff out on the sidewalk to catch the interest of the many people walking by. In closing, they're ideally located with in the heart of Old South and I hope they always be. I'll make a point to continue shopping there whenever I am in the area to ensure that happens.

I bought a brand new Whirlpool washer 18 months ago from Teppermans & was put on a payment plan. It…read morerecently stopped working. I called 2 repairman on separate occasions from separate repair shops to look at it. Both said it's junk. It would cost $660 to repair. I haven't even finished paying for it! The Motherboard is shot! Both repairman told me the new electronic washers with buttons instead of dials are garbage. When I called Teppermans they put me thru to Whirlpool in the US. They told me zi should have gotten the extended warranty instead of the one year warranty that Whirlpool had in it. Eighteen months & it's garbage! My last Kenmore washer lasted me 25 YEARS! One repairman said I should have kept it & repaired IT. Sad.

It offers both ready made and custom order furniture, rugs, tableware, wall decor, lighting, pillows and other decorative things. I love their selection. It's a nice store to wander about in with a West Elm or Crate and Barrel vibe. However, I have had some issues. Firstly in product reliability. I purchased a mid century modern lamp for over $400. When I got it home and assembled it one of the custom lamp shades had a large tear in it. Returned it. Lamp #2 assembled (not a fun or easy assembly FYI), worked for 1 week, then nothing. Seemed to be an issue with the wiring and twisting "on" switch. Returned again. Lamp #3 now having been assembled and in house with Hue lights to completely avoid on-switch issues. It looks great but I wait with baited breath for next issue. You expect this when its IKEA value products, but not higher end pieces. Also, I have had mixed customer service. My first visit I had a very helpful male sales associate who helped me plug in things in the store to try. And the returns above went smoothly with no hassle. But, I went with my mom who had purchased a rug and the manager gave her a hard time, spouted off a completely different "return policy" than what is posted at register and on receipt, and after a lot of arguing only gave her store credit. Which might be fine on a small purchase. This was not. She's basically now sitting on an $1000 gift certificate that she can't find anything there to use it on. So definitely a fun browse and a quick token purchase, but just be aware of potential issues with major purchases.
